Our first visit to this little restaurant was surprisingly good. We live in Rotterdam and somehow always passed this restaurant but never went there. The venue is small, decorated in an old fashioned Italian style. The proud owner welcomed us kindly and made us feel at ease right away. The food was very good, we had a salad and bruschetta... Not your box standard Italian pizza and paste chain. A family run restaurant with proper Italian dishes. Don't come here for a quick in and out meal, take your time and enjoy, it's worth it. Good quality food and range of wine choices - no Chianti though!! - and certainly worth a trip. Recommended.

If you want a cosy, warm and an enjoyable evening, just choose Due Tonino. I've been going there for 3 years now and I've had an excellent experience each time. We go there every time we have a special occasion or just feel like having a night eating out. It's great for anything! Just make sure you reserve, because the... More

Small but very cosy restaurant. Good food and wines. Fresh pasta's are great and also their pizza's are excellent. Make sure to take a limocello.

I am being happy to come in Due Tonino since my early study days, +/- 20 years ago. i just read the reviews and I can not believe that when there were issues with food these would not have been resolved!! The people are friendly and have passion for what they do and above all they have good old fashioned... More

We ate here the last time we were in Rotterdam, and looked forward to our return. Once again, the food and service did not disappoint. Great value and outstanding chef!

This is one of the restaurants that we visit quite regularly. Its a cute little place with good atmosphere and pretty decent food. We love the 'cheese fondue' starter, where melted cheese is placed inside an emptied out bread. Also the pizzas are pretty decent (but about as good as many other places in Rotterdam these days) and we enjoy... More

I was so excited to go there after reading all the great reviews, I took my parents there as well,God I was wrong. I have no idea why this place gets good reviews apart from the service, which is friendly and efficient.I could only eat a third of the calamari as they were burnt and unedible. The pasta al tartufo was... More

This is your typical neighbourhood Italian. Better than the average Italian in the Netherlands (they are most often bad), but too oldfashioned. The veggies were a bit overcooked. The pasta is good but not delicate. A bit expensive. Some nice wines though. it is a nice place to go when you are hungry and live nearby, but not when you... More

A nice family-owned Italian restaurant in Rotterdam. Good pizzas, pastas and risottos. Their homemade desserts are delicious.
