Great food and great service

My hotel recommended this hotel and it was an excellent choice. Nice open atmosphere and yet I felt like we had a quaint and quiet spot along the window. Our waiter was very helpful in suggesting what we order and he was not wrong. He served this delicious bread to start and I could have... read more

Private dining experience at Quartier du Port. Came in with (too) high expectations. Staff was friendly, but service was not up to par. One of the guests regularly refilled glasses of wine and water, basically doing the staffs job. The first course of our surprise menu started out great with a simple but very tasty Beef Tartar, followed by a... More

We sat outside. This is more or less an inside outside terrace with no street view. It is a cosy terrace with uncomfortable chairs. Don't forget to ask for cushions. The service is fast, friendly and knowledgable. The food is average to good but could use a bit more fantasy, The fish soup I had was ok but with little... More

It is a perfectly adequate place to go, and probably even great for older people. The menu is nice, but the food is somewhat old fashioned and the choice is limited. The interior is nice in a bare, slightly rustic style. However, the light in the restaurant is far too bright, so not ideal for a cosy or romantic meal.... More

The restaurant had a groupon deal which I bought and that is how I happened to eat there. The groupon came with a set menu which quite happily they were able to make little alterations as I do not eat pork. The starter was a soup which required the saltiness of bacon (or in my case, salmon) to really bring... More

This restaurant is located in the nice area called Scheepvaartskwartier. The area is filled with protected monumental buildings. Also this restaurant is located in a building which looked have been formerly used as a shipping agent. The restaurant nicely kept the memories of the buildings past in tact, which lifts the atmosphere of the restaurant. As other reviewers, we also... More

I come here regularly for work and with friends. The set menu at lunch times is excellent value and cant be beaten. 3 courses for around 25 EUros from memory. Dinner is good and again the set menu is hard to go past for great value. Service is friendly but not always as attentive as it should be...it is easy... More

The Quartier du Port is a fascinating restaurant located at the scheepvaartkwartier of Rotterdam. My friend took me there last week and I loved it. The mainly French food was delicious and oozed a lot of Michelin star in everything. The restaurant itself is nicely designed with high ceilings, the interior is big and stylish but not really class although... More

The scheepvaartkwartier of Rotterdam is incredibly popular nowadays, with loads of restaurants, hotels and bars and quartier du port is bang in the middle of it. I decided to go with my dad after reading the good reviews on tripadvisor. The menu is not that extensive but for me it often means fresh and made to order food. After a... More

visited after reading other good reviews on tripadvisor and not disappointed at all. 3 course set meal with 2 choices for each course for €34. The food was fantastic, knocking michelin star quality in it's presentation and depth of flavours. The setting is completely unpretencious, come as you are it's about the food and the experience not a fashion show.... More
