Great value lunch

We had their soup and open sandwich special, which was excellent value at 10 eu. The soup tasted homemade, and the open sandwich ingredients were very fresh. The only negative was the weak tea, which we send back, only the get a frshly made batch of equally weak tea. Perhaps the Dutch drink their... read more

Serves fabulous afternoon teas. Also great scones with cream and jams great thing for me is instead of cream you can have a lovely lactose free yoghurt. The mini goats cheese croquettes are also delicious as is Oma's steak pie. Typical Dutch food with variations not to mention the Leonidas chocolates great for lunch and afternoon tea!

We had to wait almost one hour for a simple soup. I come to this place very often, I never saw such a bad service. After 40 minutes of waiting, they came to announce that the soup I have ordered was not available anymore. I said ok, we had to wait 15 minutes more to get one cold and one... More

Came across this place after discovering the Indonesian restaurant I wanted to try is closed on a Sunday The staff is friendly and there is also free wifi. The chicken satay tasted fine, happy with this cafe.

Had high tea. Food taste was ok. Presentation if you order only for 1 person is just on plates- nothing special. Chicken satay ok. Servers were pleasant but SLOW. English menus and English-speaking staff. Their chocolates are amazing - dine-in food is just ok. Court yard at back is nice.

We splurged on the high tea and had a delightful combination of sweet and savory options. Pair this with a window seat, and you'll have a tasty and memorable experience.

For the second time in a row, brunch was at Leonidas for us! We just love their generous serving (with refillable tea) and being right next to the chocolate shop. Our visit last Sunday was a good one since Delft was enjoying a warm day at 16C. The garden was open and you can opt to sit there. If you... More

Open seven days a week, Leonidas provides not only excellent food, but a relaxed and friendly environment that makes it a perfect place to dine at any hour of the day. Four of us had a most enjoyable mid-day break that included unexpected delights including scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam, warm chocolate laced with rum, chocolate brownies and... More

Although Leonidas is best known as a lunch and tearoom, being a branch of the Belgian factory, one may have savory fare here as well. To this end, the Delft site invented the term "high-wine" - the name is self-explicatory. We were here with a large group, and got some 10 small dishes serving as starter, entree and dessert, accompanied... More

Good teas and coffees, reasonable snacks, excellent chocolade, but not a real restaurant, more a place to gossip with friends
