We visited Maharaja on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is a short walk from Delft's picturesque Beestenmarkt (lovely spot for a pre-meal beer). The welcome was friendly and the service was very good. We had Onion Bhaji and Paneer Pakora as starters and Macchi Talia and Subzi Kofta curries as main courses. They were all excellent - very tasty and... More

This place exceeded our expectations both in terms of food and service, and we'll definitely come back here. The butter chicken was probably the best I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh, rich flavors, fairly quickly prepared, friendly service from the owner. A real Indian treat in the heart of Delft.

An Indian colleague had really enjoyed his outing here so on our next visit to Delft we thought we would give it a try. We were lucky as had not made reservation but as it was early they found us a table. Great welcome, ever better service and the food was amazing. Each meal was cooked freshly and the flavours... This dining experience is one of our best in the Netherlands. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent and the setting was lovely. We ate from the 4 course lamb menu and were very pleased with the choice. We would recommend that you make reservations ahead of time, and your only mistake would be to order only one thing... More

A small place, it was a little hard to find but in the end we found it. I went their with my Indian friend as we missed having some Indian cuisine. The food was good, it was our mistake that we asked for extra spicy food it turned out really spicy. As an overall experience it is a place worth... More

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the waiter (owner?), who was very helpful and friendly. (We had been there twice on a previous visit to Delft.) As vegetarians we found an impressive range of options. Although the papadams were rather tired, the rest of the meal was excellent - well cooked and subtily flavoured. The baigan bartha was extraordinarily... More

The food has very nice taste compared to typical taste of indian restuarants in nl. Few months back we celebrated our daughters first birthday. I visit this restaurant very often since food is delicious. No matter what you order and weather you like spicy or not. They can always adjust it. From starters to desserts the taste is great. The service is lovely since the owners are the ones cooking or serving. You see a lot of Indian people visiting constantly this site so... More

We took our Dutch customer to this restaurant. The food was real authentic Punjabi. Both verg and non veg were very well prepared. The service was excellent and price is reasonable. The ambience gives you a very rajasthani feel.
