Huge selection of regional beer and hearty food

The menu of Belgian and Dutch beers is huge, you could easily spend an afternoon and evening enjoying them at you own pace. I really enjoyed a few Belgian abbey beers alongside a great big bowl of stewed lamb. The lamb was slow cooked to perfection and the burgers and fish my colleagues had looked... read more

I had beer and snacks here at several occasions and love the cozy atmosphere in the heart of delft. One of the nicest brown cafés in delft and Holland. Go there for a true Dutch beer experience and try the classic snacks- bitterballen and krojetten.

Loved to eat here in the past, but there are problems. The starter and the main course were both cold when they arrived at the table. Wine list is too limited for a restaurant of this price level. Also, food is too expensive for the quality currently offered.

Been there with a group of friends. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant has personality. My friends and I had different meals but all of us agreed that the food was really good! Plus selection was interesting and wide enough. I don't give the last extra star, because a waitress eventually dropped a beer over my clothes. It might... More

The pace is always crowded, I visited it two different nights and I had great dinner and beer both times. One night I got the burger, and salad with chicken the next. Service is fast so I was happy, I recommend it.

Went there several times and each time had the surprise menu. Both times it didn't disappoint. Very nice environment, good staff, open kitchen, excellent food. I do think it's wise to make a reservation.

Friendly staff. Tasty filling food and good beer range. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the location. Open for lunch which many places in the town are not.

Everything was just fine, nice and smiling waitresses. The food is good and copious, it also seems that is local and organic. :) Service was a little slow (on a Saturday). I would recommend it.

The stadscafe is in a 17th century building between the main square and an old channel. The café at lunch offers you delicious light meals, but you have to try the excellent restaurant at first floor at dinner. You can ask for the menu, but it is better just to decide if you want meat or fish, three course or... More
