If you are looking for a nice place to have a coffee, go to the Eetkamer. Coffee was very good, set in a nice shop for interior design.

Came here for my birthday dinner with the entire family, since my chef-sister-in-law recommended it. The interieur is a bit somber, the service pleasant a bit formal, but the food is REALLY GOOD! Not just taste-wise, but every small detail seems to have been painstakingly thought through. Just their table bread are paper thin crackers with a whaff of garlic... More

The "Eetkamer" is a hidden jewel. Not on a street you would necessarily wander down, but well worth the trouble to find. Top class, flavoursome food, presented to match any michelin star restaurant. The food is, unlike some other top restaurants, recognisable. The chef is also the owner and the fact he loves his trade is obvious. The front of... More

All courses were very tasty and nicely presented. Variations of lamb, dry-aged entrecote, filet americain with delicious sweetbreads... Absolute favourite was a ravioli of crayfish with 'thai curry'-ish sauce. Could have happily had it for entrance, main and dessert. Splendid!!

We found this restaurant thanks due Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Instead of the menu and as we didn't want the dessert, we had an à la carte dinner and it was excellent. The starters were 'ravioli of lobster' (17 €) and 'Runderfilet, zure zult en zwezerik' (16 €). Main dishes were turbot (30 €) and sweatbread (30 €).... More

Very good little restaurant near the Mariaplaats. Only a few tables but very quiet and excellent for business meetings. Good tasty food and friendly service at a reasonable price.

This lovely and quaint restaurant offers an heartwarming and sophisticated experience in a lovely environment, thanks to an excellent service and hosts who knows how to make guests feel welcome. The quality of the ingredients is truly outstanding, as well as the flavour combinations, some more experimental, which add to the overall experience. Dishes are for all tastes and I... More

Eating here is great, but has one big problem. After having a wonderful dinner with great service in a great atmosphere, really enjoyed, just don't want to eat anywhere else. It began with a dinner for two and is now our favorite restaurant. We celebrate each special and less special occasion in 'De Eetkamer'. Excelent! Great to have this excelent... More
