well worth the detour! Loved the chance to choose from a selection of small starters, and also the dessert sampler. The nutroast was an unusual option, served with creamy mashed potatoes. Deeg is one of my favorite restaurants to visit when you want something special, but not too expensive. It serves nice original food wich is organic. And has a great selection of organic wines too.

For The Netherlands the cooking is not too bad; read that it is acceptable and the chef is trying is best to make things interesting within a tight budget. Deeg restaurant takes away the challenge of browsing an extensive menu: all is organic and you can choose from 6 starters and try 3!. about the same number of main courses and only sweet or cheeses to choose for dessert.
