We have had a great evening. Good room down stairs close to the fire. Tried the Wagyu, but expected more taste. Wines are impressive but prices too serious. The staff could be less formal to make the impression even better.

Those were the days - that you turned into this house only for an attempt to get relief from one of the most terrible diseases at that time. Now, in the 21th century, the former hospital has turned into a very cozy, small-scale restaurant that serves high-quality meals. We came in by car and one of us was handicapped -... More

We went tot his restaurant last minute and found it on trip advisor. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurant with the food and service. Only downside is that the weather was lovely and they don't have a outside to have drinks. Would visit again.

It's a small cosy restaurant, with friendly, knowledgable staff, and let yourself surprise, alternatively, make your choice. It's a very good alternative to the Librije and her sister.

Hi all, finally decided to start passing on some reviews considering I've been using all yours for years, so it's payback time. For work reasons we have been spending some time in Zwolle recently. Following reviews of the site we decided to try this restaurant and what an experience. Firstly the room, if possible ask for a table downstairs especially... More

I took my wife to diner to make up for weeks of hard work. The atmosfere was great, (almost) medieval building, great woodfire, candles etc. Food was good too. We were served by al young lad with shaking hands, who didnot know much about the wines served (Australian wine was actually from Argentina), but that didnot spoil the fun. However,... More

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my graduation with my family and I had a great time! The food was excellent and the service was also very good! The restaurant itself is located in a medieval building, which is a great setting. The wines were well selected and matched the food perfectly. All in all a big recommendation!

I have been here numerous times and every time I like it very much: high quality food, very good wines and nice, personal service. It is in a beautiful 16th century building : it used to be a hospital for people who had the pest, but that is a long time ago. Now it has a great atmosphere. Be sure... More
