Amazing sunset, great restaurant

This was my dining destination during my first evening in Zandvoort. The staff of this place again were young, good looking, great smiles and very friendly. I noticed that most of the beachfront restaurants in Zandvoort have had the same first impressions. This place was really slow as the... read more

Zout tries to deliver a better quality than the remaining beach restaurants. The food almost reaches this aspiration even though price / quality is for me out of balance. Where it goes terribly wrong is the service. I understand that it is challenging to serve well on a very busy day. But staff was flat out unfriendly, multiple dishes were... More

We went for dinner with my family from Holland. Such a great atmosphere, right on the beach. We enjoyed the food very much. Kids were happy with food options for them and then they played on the beach. We could watch them from inside, with a nice glass of wine. We do not eat seafood, but my family does. That... More

Food was good, though just before we left the dishwasher guy went to the toulet (made some attrocious noises and smells) then popped straight into the kitchen without washing his hands and handles all the clean glasses and cutlery. Fellow urinal users also flaberghasted. Gross.

I have been there several times and frankly the food is good. OK, one can argue about the relation of price vs quality etc but all restaurants at the beach have a higher price setting. Its a choice you make and with nice weather it is special. What you do not chose is to enjoy bad service and thats what... More

Went there 3 times during our visit. Liked the fact that the tapas small plates could be mixed and matched to creat your own meal. Most places along the beach seem over priced. We found Zout was a great value, had very comfortable outdoor chairs and pleasant music that wasn't too loud. (We left another place due to the noise).... More

The location is great as well as the choices on the menu and the service, while prices are on the high side.
