We came in very hungry with two kids. Food took forever to get to the table. Young waiter boy did not understand half what we said and didn't check on us. Food was OK.

We ducked in here because it was raining out. So glad we did. It was an extremely good lunch. We had two small children under age 3 with us and the place worked out well for them too. Gigantic burger on the kids menu!

Yes, this is.a touristy restaurant in a touristy place. On a summer weekend it's going to be busy. In February you can have a less crowded but still great experience. If busy, you need to be forthright in terms of getting a table and getting the servers attention. That being said, each time we've gone (over a 3 year period),... More

We did a tour of the Windmills, Volendam and Markam. Before taking the ferry from Volendam to Markem we decided to have a late lunch early dinner here. We had a very competent waiter who served my wife some nice Pinot Grigio and the wonderful, although 8.5% alchohol, local beers for me. Chef appetizer complimentary, proved a great lead in... More

All the staff here are rude and openly ignorant We were left at a table for 20 minutes while waitresses walked past without asking if we would like to order In the end I had to wave at a robot to get attention. Great location and they know it GO ELSEWHERE

Ordered a sandwich here for lunch with friends and was expecting a light lunch so was very impressed when it arrived! It was more like a burger very filling and definitely worth the money (6€50). Nice view of the village and port even from inside.

Couple of waiters avoiding to serve us constantly is what we received in this nice place, with the greatest location of this village. It is just dissapointing when a restaurant has the clients flow so high due to a touristic location, that has no care about basic service . Food below average.

This was our first time in Volendam which is a nice touristy town in The Netherlands. We stopped by this little pub/restaurant and sat outside. It was very crowded so we were lucky to get a place. We did not eat on the premises but had a few beers (Palm, Grimbergen dubbel, Paulaner) and a few snacks for the drinks... More

12 of us Irish went here to eat one night and we were given a large table upstairs - we had great food and we drank plenty which resulted in a good ol sing song - the manager then arrived up to us and asked us if the guests downstairs could come up to listen and join in to which... More
