Lovely place for lunch

Me and my partner come here regularly. We love the Art Deco feel and atmosphere. It is always busy, especially when the sun shines. There is a generous outdoor space to eat and drink in, if you want. The menu is full of Dutch style open sandwiches, burgers, salads and snacks. There is a full bar... read more

We shared a 3.5" pie with layers of thinly sliced apples with cinnamon and handmade cream. Amazing. Coffee, service, interior based on this experience was definitely a 5!

The Grand Café Brinkmann is a very well old deco maintained café, you can breath the history in the air. We had dinner and it was really good. Some typical Dutch dishes combined with good steaks :-) we all loved the food, the service was perfect and the drinks choice is good...and... there is a lot of beer to choose... More

Found a great table at the Grand Cafe to people-watch on Center Square... Shared a light lunch with sausages and pom frittes... chased-down with excellent beer... Wait-staff was polite, friendly and fast...

After a walk through Haarlem, a great city in the Netherlands, it was great to take a seat and enjoy the sun, some light food and a few drinks. From appetizers to complete meals the Grand Cafe can clearly meet the bill. We stayed with drinks and appetizers which were wonderful. A Shrimp Croquette, hot soup were all wonderful. The... More

We called in at these premises for a bite of lunch while on a visit to Haarlem. The nice weather meant we were able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the city and the funfair there at the time. The food served from a varied menu was delicious - well presented and brought by friendly and efficient staff.... More

Haarlem's best place to enjoy a coffee. It turns the market place in a 'place m'as tu vue' Often very busy but little patience will get you a seat and table

I love it here, it's got a wonderful position in the market square, with loads of tables outside whenever the sun shines. It always seems to have quite a few local people who obviously appreciate the relaxing atmosphere. The service is very good, slick, but unobtrusive. Lunchtime meals are quite bread based, and the burgers are really good. In the... More

Loved sitting in the sun during the summer for breakfast. The eggs and ham meal is yummy. The burger is also the best burger you will get in Haarlem.
