I've never been a fan of Indian food because I don't care for curry. On a local visit to Haarlem, my husband talked me into trying Indian food again. We visited this restaurant and LOVED it! The food was outstanding and the owner made sure that we enjoyed everything! He even told us that if we did not enjoy the... More

It was a Saturday evening and we had reserved for 7:15 PM with a baby chair. They confirmed this by phone. We had bought a 3 course dinner on groupon for 35 Euro for 2 people. When we arrived, the owner was reluctant to put the baby chair for our child. "it' too big for your child". After insisting, we... More

The restaurant itself looks like any other Indian (the interior leaves no doubt about what you're about to experience, but the surprise for me was the amazing food. I've eaten Indian food in Delhi, Glasgow, London, East Bay, CA. This was one of the best spiced meals I've ever had. Finally a curry that didn't overwhelm. I had the lamb... More

This place has no surprises - interior is typically the style of an indian restauarnt, background music is unoffensive, menu has the traditional dishes. Service is very polite and effecient. It is not fancy, neither does it pretend to be but as far as Indian restauarants in Haarlem go, this probably has the best food. We've been numerous times for... More

This place is very close to the Carlton Square, they have very friendly people in this hotel, nice presentation of food and most of all the taste is authentic. It has been a while i am away from India, ate in many Indian restaurants but this place reminded me of home. If you are looking for a nice place to... More

We knew we had a winner when it was so busy on a Tuesday night. Despite the large number of customers, our waitress was very charming and helpful. Highly recommend the saag chicken or saag lamb....maybe not the Indian wine.

If your not starving or impatient, a nice restaurant with decent food. It takes the staff for ever to take an order and serve drinks and food. We like the food mainly because the dishes made containing chicken are made with chicken thighs, which is much better then filet (filet tends to be dry and though!). The food is not... More

We decided to step in here one evening because we genuinely like Indian cuisine. The restaurant was empty except for a table that was occupied by a group of people. When we entered no one even bothered telling us where we could sit so we decided to settle down on a table quite close to the exit. We took off... More
