My wife and I visited Jacobus Pieck since it was recommended in our Tour book (Rick Steves). Here are the key things to know: - Make a reservation: We wandered in on a Saturday night and were able to get a table but the restaurant was completely full. They told us that it was the last table available - Dinner... More

This cute small restaurant offers daily specials that are well prepared and offered for a very reasonable price. The service is very friendly and efficient. You'll have to get there early, however, since they often run out of their advertised (on the sidewalk chalk board) specials .

Very good lunch place in the centre of Haarlem. Little restaurant in an the width of an old house. Obviously very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Service quick and very friendly. Very busy but they always seemed to be able to fit people in. Too cold to use the courtyard

Through the years, I've had many a lunch here, both with my mother and with friends. I must admit that I never once sat indoors. To me, the backyard is a magic spot, where you are sheltered from the wind, so that you can eat 'al fresco' eight to nine months a year - as long as it's dry. The... More

The city of Haarlem has many little restaurants in the old centre that are a joy to visit and experience. This restaurant in the cosy Warmoestraat in just a treat to be in. I asked to be served a more leasurely speed as I wanted to read the paper and take my time. They happily accomodated and served tables around... More

Mint tea and some of the bst homemade sandwiches I've had made this a special place .. this is a neat little restaurant which servers a surprising wide range of simple and homemade foods. We went in to shelter from heavy rain .. and stayed a while becuase it was, well very pleasant!

Per prior TA reviews found this to be a great choice for lunch close to the market. Value was excellent for the quality of food. All choices were beautifully cooked and plated. Decided to eat out back in the small patio area which provided shade - and when it started raining also good cover if you were under the large... More
