Special fish restaurant with live lobster tank, superb service and outstanding food. Eel terrine, red snapper and an amazing cheese board made for a special evening.

Imko (the chef) is wellknown for his fish cooking and is most probably one of the best fish chefs in the Netherlands. So we were looking forward to a nice dinner. When we arrived in the restaurant we were promptly seated, drinks and a nice mackarel "gado gado" amuse was served. So far so good. Then we got the menu's.... More

This is a large modern fish restaurant on a canal near the centre of town. In keeping with modern restaurant design the kitchen is in full view of the diners. The waiters are very professional and helpful. Prices are fairly high but the quality and presentation of the food is well worth the outlay. I chose the three-course menu (EUR... More

An outstanding meal. Had a surprise tasting menu which included mackerel, which I normally dislike, and even it was tasty. Everything was fresh and creative, highly recommended.

This is our favorite restaurant in Haarlem. If you love fish and fine dining, and appreciate value for money, this is a great place. Because most fish dishes are quite light, it's a nice place for an evening out with several courses without feeling completely stuffed afterwards.

I went to this restaurant with a group of 9 colleagues after visiting Vis en Ko with my wife late last year and having a fantastic experience. Maybe a bit risky to go back, as one often finds places never live up to your hype. No need to worry, my friends and I had a wonderful time. We had the... More

My wife and I tasted the sea fruit menu, it was amazing, beside the freshness of the sea fruits, service and presentation were impeccable and made the evening for us 1 to remember.

I really recommend this place for fish-lovers. Exellent combination of wine and the fishdishes. Nice staff.

For the third time, we took the Christmas Eve special at Vis & Ko. As in earlier years, we were treated very well: a multi-faceted, well prepared menu, and a fitting wine choice. Mr, Binnerts and his team certainly know how to deal with seafood. The supporting courses were delicious and balanced, the main course was -in our humble opinion-... More
