Great seafood and good service

Have eaten here a couple of times now and keep going back for the fish soup which is thick tasty and very flavoursome. Generally have found all of the seafood to be well cooked, tasty and reasonable value. Service is not rushed and maybe a little reactive but rtainly happy to help when asked.

Nothing at this restaurant could be classified as astonishing as nothing poor. Good service. Wifi. Cuisine without fantasy. Soups feel knorr's. Local beer is very light and not particular tasty. Carpaccio is prepared in industrial way. No passion and fantasy. Duo of salmon was our last hope. Good fish but confused preparation. New chef is recommended!

This is a large restaurant on two floors. Very large, and a little noisy, but the staff was nice and it's a nice environment to spend a saturday night with friends, food and drink. Nice dutch food. When I wanted to eat there again,on, I think it was Monday evening, unfortunately they were closed.

We had mussels in white wine and they were absolutely delicious! Also the other plates we saw passing by looked good and the waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful. The terrace next to the harbour is very nice to sit on, but inside the restaurant there also is a good atmosphere. There are small ship models everywhere. When you... More

I've been there with my family. We waited for the kids food for about 30 minutes. Nothing was really good. The king prawns was so lame, and it's price was around 20 euro! We were also billed for ketchup 1 euro and for a bottle of water 5. Worst value for money I've met for a long while

In a very cozy restaurant facing the port canal, full of nice models of ship (from small size to big one) we enjoy mussels (ask for white dry wine, it was good), code and probably the best poffertjes we had never had. Enjoy!

We had dinner here with 5 people. There was not enough staff and it was very busy. This resulted in sloppy service and a very long wait for the main dishes: more than an hour. We were not offered an apology but were only steered towards ordering an other drink whilst waiting. Food was nothing special. Never again.

Found this by accident, looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. Glad we did the fish stew was amazing and so was the flounder and salmon. The inside is very well done and the service was very good.

Perhaps the staff are new, but I tend to think that people who complain about the service are saying more about themselves than the restaurant. Certainly we much enjoyed every aspect of our meal and the service. The mussels were especially good and the beer excellent.

we Always have a nice dinner in this restaurant and the people are very friendly. when we were married for 40 years, we got this very nice desert with the letters 40 years in chocolate. in summertime you can sit outside and have a glass of wine and look at all the tourists who walk by.
