Traditional gastronomy in historical setting

The ancient port of Enkhuizen certainly merits a visit with its 'Golden Age' or 17th century buildings and layout. Of course you risk getting stuck in a tourist trap in such a location. Fear not! Die Drie Haringhe can be your save haven. Traditional but delicious dishes will delight you. We were... read more

We moored adjacent to the restaurant and whilst we have eaten well in Enkhuizen many times we had not been here. It is a first class fine dining restaurant. All the food was very good and the service fantastic. It is a place that we will definitely revisit next time we are in this lovely town

From the friendly and professional young lady who looked after us - explaining the menu, keeping us provided with freshly baked bread and rolls and a complimentary tasting of slow-cooked pork belly and happily providing us with tap water instead of insisting on expensive bottled water - to every element of the delicious 3 course menu we decided upon ...... Nice restaurant with beautiful courtyard well protected from the noisy quais, good was very good, slightly unadventurous but very well prepared and with well balanced menu of the day, service impeccable, wonderful Lebanese desertwine, we had a perfect evening and would warmly recommend

The food was very nice (especially dessert!) and the staff were welcoming and friendly. One thing I would say though is that it is pretty formal and a lot of the menu items reflect this - the starters in particular were things which I wouldn't normally choose (think sweetbreads, oxtail, carpaccio, etc.). It was very tasty but I wouldn't recommend... More

The food here was good, and the chocolate dessert excellent, although the portions weren't particularly large, given the price. The restaurant itself had a lovely atmosphere, and we weren't frowned upon for being two English-speaking students, which we'd worried might happen! It was quite formal, as would be expected of a prestigious restaurant with such accolades. The waitress was very... More

I cannot believe Michelin giving 2 fourchettes for such a restaurant. We were there for lunch but the waitress was more busy cleaning glasses and unpacking bottles of wine than serving us. When we left we had to pick up our own coats and umbrella. Food nothing special to write home about.

Yes. It is a beautiful restaurant. Yes it is clean and the food is good. What I dislike about this sort of restaurant is that they think you loose your head over their food. I am afraid that didn't happen. I found the way they presented their plates pretentious, and back home thinking about the prices I was very happy... More
