I dined at the Zorba De Griek hoping to get a good taste of Greek cuisine. The ambiance and service were alright, nothing great to write home about. I had a three course meal with tomato soup as the starter, main course with grilled chicken, gyros and fries with tzatziki followed by coffee towards the end. The food was good... More

Very much regretted eating here. Quality of the ingredients was generally very poor and most things did not taste fresh at all (more like the dips and instant meals you get at the supermarket). Part of the kitchen is in sight and the restaurant has no qualms about putting the microwave in pride of place, and in fact using it... More

We are fans of Greek food and living in Ireland where Greek restaurants are rare,we make the most of any opportunity to go Greek that arises. The decor here is par for the course, lots of blue and white and tourist office posters. The elderly waiters do a good job and are up to date on the economic crisis at home... More

Lured in by the charming but scatty host we had a pretty enjoyable meal. The food was good and seemed authentically Greek, apart from my moussaka came with some sort of gravy on it! Odd but actually not bad. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed although to be fair not many other diners were present. I would be happy to... More

I suspect Zorba's is a bit hit and miss, but we ate very well and left smiling - made me yearn to go back to Greece

It started off promising with some good garlic butter and soft bread, the lentil soup was tasty, but then it all fell apart. Chicken gyros that were cold, moussaka that was hot but tasteless and a less than personable owner. I left feeling rather ill.

We came across this restaurant by chance (be prepared to 'run the gauntlet' from other restaurants owners plying their trade) One of the things we liked, was that no one was trying to drag us inside and we had time to peruse the menu. The chef quietly welcoming us and |i must say, his food was outstanding. Hubby and I... More

We fancied some Greek food and entered at our peril. Ordered a fixed menu for two. Were served some potted greek sauces with vine leaves that were so old they had dried out. After this awful starter we should have left but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Before our main came, the greasy, unshaven, dirty waiter... More

The food is frozen and the overall quality is very bad. The stuff is rude and I've never seen the waiters teeth's. Spanakopitas were horrible and sour. One of the worse tourist traps I have ever set my foot on. Avoid this place!

My friends and I wanted to have a dinner in a restaurant not far from our hotel, because we were tired, we were a party of ten and it was raining. Zorba seemed to be a good choice. We ordered as starter: hummus that was extremely garlicky. Main courses were: grilled salmon with salad and fries, and I asked for... More
