Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, decent food (the beef & Guinness excellent), sports on TV and close to Dam Square. The sort of good handy and dependable place you need if you stay in any town for a few days.

After a long day we just wanted dinner and found this pub near our hotel. The cottage pie and fish and chips were great, and the staff was "at home" friendly. The burgers looked wonderful, although we didn't have one. If the opportunity comes, we'll go back.

I found this place while my boss took me out adventuring! The burgers are juicy and delicious and comes with fries and a salad. They also have Magners cider that on request you can get black currant added which makes it even better!! Prices are beyond reasonable and the bar staff is super friendly

really impressed with the new "snug" room. Comfy seats and a massive HD screen- Looking forward to spending a lot of time there during the World Cup! Friendly staff, a great choice of beers and one of the best burgers in town make O'Reilly's a definite favorite of mine

Part of a small chain of Irish Pubs in Europe -- this version is very close to Dam Square and has a very friendly and relaxed staff. As others have commented the pub-food is good, warm and plentiful. Outside sidewalk seating and service and a great place on weekends to watch Anglo-centric sports on various TV screens and share a... More

Tasty food, good prices and opens 1 hour earlier than the eateries in the neighbourhood. Plentiful sunday roast, big enough for 2.

Excellent staff here, very smiley and friendly. Came here twice, once for drinks and another time for dinner. A'dam is not the cheapest place to eat out and most restaurants all offer the same thing. O'Reilly's is perfect because it offers large portions for a normal price (so it actually seems cheap in A'dam!) 13€50 for Bangers and Mash 7€... More

We were looking or a pub in Amsterdam that was showing the English domestic rugby and came across this delightful bar via an internet search. The pub advertised on the internet that it was showing the rugby and whilst it wasn't actually on when we arrived the staff were more than happy to put it in for us. Having already... More

Lively place with lots of atmosphere. The food was really nice and hearty and plenty of it, very enjoyable. The pints of Guinness were not as good as home but were pretty good (only had the 4 pints mind you ;-) . A definite place to go back to next time.

I was here for the Millenium New Year. I don't remember much, but it was fun. Lots of different characters and tons of different kinds of beer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR A GOOD TIME - also visit the one in Heidelberg, Germany
