My husband and I chose this restaurant for lunch basing on the review of the Lonely Planet guide and tasted different dishes. The familiar atmosphere of this restaurant is nice and the room is neat and simply decorated. The appetizers and the main courses tasted good and we appreciated that the... read more

Everything here seemed prepared in advance and just microwaved. The rice was set hard on the plate in one dry stiff lump. Not very tasty either. Service was civil but not too friendly. Could do a lot better.

Had a great rijsttafel! Get a table away from the door: restaurant is small and whenever someone comes in there is a cold draft.

Ate here tonight with a group of 8. The order was incorrect, the food took a very long time, and the bill was incorrect. If you are in the area, I would strongly suggest you pass on this place.

Small restaurant. We read that it was a restaurant that you had to go if you were in Amsterdam, so we went. It was really good, specially a dish with a lot of sauces and rice (don't remember the name). Totally recomended.

We had read that a "must do" in Amsterdam was a rice table and this one was recommended in our guide book. Restaurant is small, cozy, busy, food delicious with good service. My husband and I (two people) had the vegetarian version and while we didn't regret it were surprised that (two kinds of rice and mini bowls of veggie... More

We had the Rijstafel, which was said to be the best in town, but was kind of a disappointment. Thirty different little cups filled with about the same food, not that spicy or authentic. Service not convincing.

Small restaurant but the food taste are excellent. My husband was happy with the taste and the service. One note for them: I hope they will be more careful and talk not so loud when there is a guest. They talk very loud when I was there and I understand their language :)

We went there for dinner. I have made a reservation because I read that it is not too big. We ordered two main courses, an appetizer and two teas. I think that it is too expensive for the quality of food.

We were extremely satisfied with the Indonesian Restaurant Tujuh Maret that we went on a friend's recommendation. A cosy restaurant with friendly atmosphere and of course with delicious dishes! You must try if you like different flavours.
