Not a pizza parlor

This is a high end Italian restaurant. The food and service are worth the price. The location is nice. We had the chef tasting menu. All the entrees were good. Wine is expensive. We would return for a special dining experience.

Asked at our hotel for a recommended Italian restaurant and were booked in to Incanto. Friendly attitude from waiter initially but this changed when we asked to forego the antipasti and requested to have risotto. When asked what we would like as our main course we said we did not want a main course but would like the risotto as... More

Our group of 8 business travelers enjoyed a delicious tasting menu last evening. A Brazilian colleague made the recommendation and it was a hit! The group made its way up to the 3rd floor and occupied a room overlooking the Singel canal and flower market. The view was remarked upon all evening. We ate our way through the 4 course... More

A restaurant that delivers a true Italian experience in service, atmosphere and food without a pizza in sight. Lovely flavours, great wine choice and the usual unfussy but very attentive service, which only the Italians can do.

We went with my boyfriend for my birthday, and all I can write about this restaurant is that the servers were careless, the atmosphere was bland, the menu was really reaching (maybe our palates haven't evolved yet), and the food.. well, let's not rate it four to five stars; two stars is being generous. Not worth the time and money;... More

My boyfriend and I spotted this restaurant hidden away on the first floor of a corner building. It looked so inviting and a little higher class than any other Italian places we had come across. The menu looked fantastic and we managed to get a table without a reservation. A very romantic and intimate setting, understated in its decor, with... More

I like to go to Amsterdam at least twice a year. This is a reoccurring eating destination for my wife and I. The food is authentic and the closest to Italian haute cuisine in Amsterdam. The service is nice and professional. All the pastas that I have tried are outstanding. My favourite is the pappardelle with ragu of cingiale, and... More

Very good pure italian food. The plating looked like artwork with superb taste to match it. Its not easy to find (the entrance doesn't look like a restaurant entrance) but when you are seated on the first floor you are rewarded with eather a nice view on the canals or a fine view of the 17 th century coin tower.

Today I had the pleasure of lunch in this restaurant overlooking the beginning of the Amstel River and Muntplein. The restaurant is one floor up flom th street so you see above all the traffic the beautiful views all around. To go with the great views we enjoyed a top class lunch - venison with parsnip and smoked red onion;... More

I have absolutely never had a better Italian diner outside of Italy. Staff was very flexible. Seemed a bit cross at first, but deservedly so since we showed up too early when they had already extended their opening times to accomodate us - oops. Magnificent view of the Munt tower! Wine wonderful, very extensive selection, albeit a bit pricey. We... More
