One on the best Italian meals outside of Italy

Great view from the table over Central Amsterdam and very welcoming service. Food was excellent. Great gamberi starter and soup good too. Chefs choice looks good but we went for the veal Wellington and beef cheeks and loved both. Service good but busy and quirky. A lovely evening and a restaurant we would recommend without hesitation.

We were celebrating a friends significant birthday and 9 of us decided to try the Chefs Menu at €51. There were four courses plus and an amuse bouche whilst we looked at menus ahead of deciding. First two courses were set, first fish course, second risotto (delicious) for third course it was either meat or fish (halibut or belly pork... More

Came here on a suggestion from our hotel Banks Mansion. I can only comment on pasta but both dishes were home made and delicious. Good atmosphere too, not too loud. Great wine selection.

This is a quirky and good place recommended to friends by their concierge. But if you arrive expecting excellent service that is both knowledgeable and prompt, you may be disappointed. We made reservations that day for a late supper and were sat upstairs in the turret. That is where the quirky part comes in. Once the only other table cleared... More

Dined here twice and we were not disappointed, whether it was from the a la carte menu, specials or chefs menu, they were all excellent, the black truffle risotto was intense, full of those earthy flavours. Veal, sea bass and pork just melted in the mouth. Seasoning was perfect and the pairings wines added to the experience as did the... More

Highly recommend this intimate and fabulous Italian restaurant. Great views of the city and the Amstel. I had the prefix three-course lunch along with the wine pairing. The portions are small but delicious. Highly recommend!

It's not easy to be found because is on the second and third floor of a building with a small sign but i would reccomend it because the quality of the food is very high, the location is amazing and the service is very professional.... much higher than the normal dutch standard.

Wonderful quiet restaurant with a great Itallian wine list including Terre Brune and Turriga. The truffle risotto was the best I've tasted. Entrees included a veal wellington which was terrific. Second floor seating looked out over the canal.
