Maoz Vegetarian in Amsterdam is a great place for healthy vegetarian food in a city that is not known for the healthiest of food options. To be honest, I needed a break from the fries and deep fried goodness Amsterdam is known for. So, I asked a hippie at a hemp store down the street and she told me to... More

This is a 3-4 time a week stop for me. The felafel is perfectly brown and crunchy, and the vegetables are sooo good. A chance to pick up a quick snack/meal on you way around Amsterdam.

Perfect place for pure vegetarian. Falafel tastes good with Indian touch of coriander chutney. Staff is very nice and communication is not a problem. Very fast and good quality. Must have instead of having any fast food or eating in Indian restaurant near to this place :-)

Could not have been better than this for pure veggies struggling to get quality veg food. Icing on the cake is when you hear hindi from the staff and know that the salad is unlimited.

How much can you eat in Euros 4.95 and that too in Amsterdam Central. Go for the Big Falafel and add toppings to your liking as many times as you want. Orange Juice/Lemonade is also nice to wash the meal down.

I'd eaten at Maoz in Soho before and was pleased to find one on Damrak in the hope that quality tends to be standard across chains. Suffice it to say, my vegetarian girlfriend and I were not disappointed. For the uninitiated, what you get is a kebab but instead of meat, you get falafel. Even as a card carrying carnivore,... We frequented multiple branches of Maoz in Amsterdam during our week long stay in September-October 2014, simply because of the value and freshness of the falafels and the vegetables. The simplistic and fresh interiors, minimalistic and thus quick to order menus and friendly staff apart from the food has been great.
