Went here with a bunch of office colleagues and stuffed ourselves to the hilt. We had the rijsttafel and were swamped with chicken, prawn , lamb, beef and other delicacies. We had some interesting dessert as well - a marzepan coated berry cake. The staff were very friendly too.

The food was, at best average. The service was so below average that it ruined the experience! From the moment we arrived we were treated as though we were not welcome. In a nutshell the staff presentation was insulting! The meal was ok...all of the meat was tough and with little explanation the rest was very average. Though...the problem may... More

Excellent Nasi Goreng, excellent Bami Goreng, great and quick service. Probably the best Indonesian food I've had for a long time in Amsterdam.

I have been there several times and always coming back when in Amsterdam. The place usually crowded and need to have a booking in advance. The best choice to get the big set to share. Nice variety of satays, sambals, curry-like staff, veggies etc. no way to eat everything. The service is also very nice and smiling. Really recommend!

An Indonesian rice table is a great fun for a small group of people to share many different dishes with varied tastes but love for spices. Sama Sebo delivered a lively atmosphere and authentic Indonesian dishes. The restaurant was packed but seats at the bar are just as fun. The restaurant is also very well located near the Rijksmuseum and... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam having lived there for 4 years a few years ago and tried many others. The staff are amazingly friendly, the food comes out super quickly and is absolutely delicious! favorite is the rijstafel which is just divine. Go hungry though!

We'd booked a table here for Valentine's Day lunch during a walking tour of Amsterdam. We ordered the Riijstaffle which was fairly average compared to others we'd had over the years. Having lived in Jakarta as well gave us a taste for Indonesian food. Having recently done two return trips to Indonesia in Garuda's Executive Class, the dining experience was... More

I could not find out. Terrible service, the bar seems more an extension of the restaurant. The food was below average yet more expensive, btw I am sure it was ready at the kitchen just waiting for us to place our order. Tofu was dry, green bean tasteless, tempeh was just tossed in the dish... Don't even have high expectation... More

Warm and friendly service with quantity, not quality, of food being the focus. House wine is awful. Worth a visit but would not return.
