Desperate for dinner we walked into here as it was on the main strip. When we sat down I decided to look it up on trip advisor and was horrified to see the scathing reviews. Sadly by this point our group of 6 were already committed to the experience. I actually felt sorry for the English waitress given she was... More

We ate nachos and quesadillas that probably came from the microwave. Not really good nachos (open a DORITOS bag and add some guacamole) and the quesadillas were 2 pieces of bread from the supermarket with a little bit of cheese. There was a really really rude waitress. The space for the terrace is that small that the waiters can't serve... More

We had a lovely table over looking the river on a nice sunny morning. The breakfasts are an ok but not cheap price by Amsterdam standards and so we expected it to be good. We were very disappointed. Sausages were tinned frankfurters, mushrooms were tinned, there was one small thin slice of bacon, eggs were over cooked, beans were dry... More

We were travelling with a friend, who's wife passed away last year. I felt drawn in because of Terri's love of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Also, go figure, Mexican in Amsterdam. Our service was excellent and food tasty.

Few food and very expensive. Price in the menu doesn't include chips nor sauces. They offer you everything pretending it's free but then you have to pay for every single thing: meat+chips+sauce+bread+cuttery

The name notwithstanding, this is another Amsterdam example of an "Argentinian / Mexican steakhouse." This small, quiet, beautifully decorated restaurant is located near a canal not too far from Centraalstation. Both food and service were very good. Curiously, this was the first "Mexican" restaurant I've ever been in that doesn't offer chips and salsa. Recommended, but know that there are... More

Myself and 4 friends decided to nip in here for an English breakfast. We were seated right next to a booth of two guys. We might aswell have been sat on their knee! Neither party could get out once seated without disturbing people eating. Ordered fresh orange which came from a cheap carton at €4-€5 a pint, can't remember exactly.... More

We were looking for a place to have quick dinner nearby centraal subway station. Guadalupe restaurant is one of the closest one so we tried. After sitting on chair, I found there're so many reviews saying it was the worst place at tripadvisor. But we have no time to look for another one so we just ordered tuna quesadilla and... More

Walked past this restaurant and it looked reasonably busy so we decided to try it as we all like Mexican food. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! We were a party of four polite and friendly people just out for a nice meal....we didn't get one! Firstly the house wine tasted like vinegar and the Coca cola was watered down. We ordered a... More
