Nothing to rave about here: Ambiance is ok, just as the quality of the food. Given the number of excellent Asian restaurants in Amsterdam, I'd say: go elsewhere.
Located int the Zeedjik restaurant district, this was a restaurant actually randomly chosen while walking there. It has proven to be exactly the right choice: great food- I thought I was in heaven-I have ordered sea food, but they do serve a very large variety of food, very good and detailed service (friendly, informative & fast). Prices although not exactly... More
My second visit to this restaurant. In 2012 it was ok. Not fancy, but decent food. This time it was darker and sort of smelly. Food was ok, but the ambience was really not so nice.
Absolutely outstanding. Food fresh, autenthic and delicious, service polite and fast and prices relative cheap (23 X person with drinks) will be back for sure
I was here with a friend last weekend. I love Vietnamese food but this was very disappointing. Very touristy, busy, personnel are too busy to be really friendly although I am sure they are. The starter, rolls and fish cakes were good but for a main we ordered a noodles dish and got rice. The waitress was very quick to... More
Wandering through Zeedijk street, we decided to try this one - it looks pleasant from outside, half a floor over the street. Inside, inviting Asian flavors persuaded us to stay. Besides, there were few visitors, mostly Vietnamese, which is a good sign, obviously. The menu is really extensive, one with dish photos, raging from pork to fish, oysters and frogs.... More
We went in later that normal and ordered the 3 course set menu washed down with a few Tsingtao's. All the food was great, especially the lemongrass chili chicken pictured. I will definitely return to that restaurant.
Needed something light to eat, wandered around Chinatown and found this place via the Zeedijk entrance. Great summer rolls, fried spring rolls and beef pho. Just what I needed on a cold evening. Prices were on the low side - pretty much what you'd pay in London. Nothing was too salty, and service was great. Will return when back in... More
We had 3 starters, all very tasty. The chicken sate skewers were slightly dry. Main course, V88 was fab as was chicken with lemon grass and chill. Would recommend this place. Price was reasonable
I have travelled extensively to Vietnam and tried Pho numerous times and the Pho in this restaurant tastes nothing like the real one! A real disappointing experience for the taste plus the rude attitude from the staffs left such a bad impression that I will definitely not go back there again.
