Actually, we only went there for some take-out sushi. Which was just great. Not cheap, but worth it. Very friendly service with Japanese bows. Really nice, you should try it.

Food is amazing, hot plate cooking gives you an interesting show to watch all evening, exquisite taste and high-level service.

Had a dinner with colleagues and business friends. The dinner prepared live with about nice variety of about 14 dishes was an impressive performance. Also the outcome, the food, was excellent. The only minor drawback, in my opinion, was the excessive amount of the food. But it is nothing to blame a cook!

Having eaten here a couple of years ago, thought I'd try it again whilst in Amsterdam. A little confusion and waiting as we arrived, but once seated the service was absolutely fine, and after another short wait the table chef arrived. Our food was prepared in front of us, with some theatrical use of flammable stuff and a steady flow... More

Some 10 years ago there were 5 teppanyaki restaurants in Amsterdam. And very good ones too. Not only delicious food but the chefs were even giving a fantastic performance making the food. This years visit I only founf 2 teppanyaki restaurants and went to Nippon. The food is still very very good. Not so much show preparing the food. But... More

We decided to go for teppanyaki with some friends and we were not disappointed! After reading a couple of reviews before getting there I was a bit worried but those soon disappeared once the food arrived. We opted for the Tokyo Menu, which was plentiful, but not to the detriment of the quality of ingredients. Slightly on the pricey side,... More

We had a family meal to celebrate our son's birthday. Andy and Jaqueline made it a fantastic night. The service by Jaqueline and her team was first class, Andy the chef cooked lovely food and we had just the nicest evening. Do not recognise any of the negative comments in other reviews. We would recommend wholeheartedly. Thanks for a great... More

Was a little bit worried before I went as I had read some of the more recent reviews, however, my fears were unfounded. The table was full, which was a good sign. We were able to pick 4 types of food per person per round. One of the problems during the dinner was that for the first and last rounds... More

well, maybe since 5 years i enjoy frequently this place and this time was the first i was disappointed! we read the several entries here about the restaurant but decide to make our own opinion after being always happy here: they still serve the lovely menus, just all you can eat is another option, maybe cause most restaurants around started... After reading a couple of the more recent very critical reviews, we were a bit suspicious but it turned out to be quite good. We had our own table with a japanese chef who knew his kitchen skills and the food was quite good. We had a pretty extensive menu. The restaurant does not have a Japanese feel, and the... More
