I happened to be looking for a place to wathch the Worls Cup game featuring Holland against Costa Rica. So I found a table at Poco Loco Cafe in Nieuwmarkt and I was not disappointed. Many Dutch fans were there and a TV was also placed on the kerb so everyone ouside to see the match. It was a great... More

Nice place to sit outside for a light dinner of Tapas. We shared the 6 Tapas special for 20 Euros. (2 fish, 2 veg, 2 meat)

7 of us turned up on a busy night and they did everything they could to squeeze us in! We all ordered a huge array of tapas and plenty of drinks. The food was really good, nothing was left. The prawn tapas was especially good! Price was perfectly acceptable. Great helpful staff (if a little forgetful) and a great cosy... More

This was a lovely little spot for a light dinner, we sat at a table outside overlooking the Niewmarkt square (we were unaware at the time but the building in the square is the "Waag", a 15th century former city gate - pretty cool!). Enjoyed a few cocktails and ordered the 7 tapas selection (about €23) - a mix of... More

A large choice menu, we opted for tapas which was average. Some of the other food looked good though. Not much choice beer wise, but the atmosphere's pretty good. Not a bad place but not somewhere I'd rush back to.

The waiter needs to learn some basic manners like answering his customers' doubts and not looking down on customers just because they have those doubts. I asked him which burguer out of the three they have was the one which a man ordered and he answered me with a: "it's on the menu...come on guys..." and when we decided we... More

Had the warm kip sandwich for lunch. One of the best sandwiches I've had in my life, really enjoyed it! Prices average at about 7.50euros. Also great playlist in an old-school setting (:

Ten of us from the UK visited after reserving a table by email. Very good, friendly service. Really decent food, with the mixed tapas being top choice! Also really easy to find. Great atmosphere!

Been a fan of Poco Loco for a few years while living in Amsterdam. The location is nice in the Red Light District and it has a small but sun drenched patio. The food is usually spot on however this time around I was disappointed with the signature "Poco Loco Club". A sandwhich that advertises smoked chicken, bacon and ham... More
