Have eaten here a few times and this restaurant is good value for money. Just make sure you have a reservation. Especially during weekends. Enjoy your meal!

You should book your table in advance. Lobster were very delicious, i liked everything in this restaurant. But, bread and water was pricey about 8 Euro! I stayed in Amsterdam for one week, and i went this restaurant twice.

I've been twice to restaurant Red and both times I've been satisfied with food, service and environment. I find t the idea of this restaurant is really successful. The choice of the meal is very simple to make, only 2 dishes available, lobster or meat, both well and cooked in a simple style. I find the service of Dutch restaurants... More

I booked in advance so understood the menu. The lobster was very nice but I have had much better steak in mnay other restaurants. The restaurant itself is nice although a little hot, we had a very nice table in the window with a lovely view of the canals which was nice, the wine was good, dessert not the best.... More

I abolutely love the concept of this restaurant. I go here quite often and always go for the lobster with mayonaise. Though the steak also looks very nice. Love the fries too. And the bread and olive oil as a starter. Lovely and affordable winelist. The chocolate dessert with blue cheese is delicious in a weird way.....The place is always... More

I was in Amsterdam on business and cannot come to this amazing city without a trip to one of my Favourite restaurants, Red. I went by myself on a tuesday and as usual it was super busy. I booked online and received a call about 10 mins later saying there were no tables for that time but would I like... More

This is a great restaurant and a favourite among locals and tourists alike. They serve lobster or steak or surf and turf and all are done beautifully! This is my favourite restaurant to take visitors in Amsterdam as the food, wine, service and atmosphere are all perfect. The restaurant is also very good value - there are few places in... More

Excellent. The restaurant is well decorated feels comfortable and welcoming from the moment you step inside. Soft furnishings, carpets and drape over the large picture windows soften the atmosphere. The menu is simple. Bread and olive oil to snack on, an excellent good value wine list, steak or lobster or a bit of both and a nice range of delicious... More

I walked past this restaurant on a Saturday evening and was intrigued with the lack of sign or menu outside. I called in and instantly loved the atmosphere so did not hesitate to make a booking for the following evening. Two seating times available. I was offered an earlier table at 6pm that had to be vacated by 8pm or... More

Good food and great ambience. The prices are a bit high for budget travelers, but it is worth a visit. Don't forget to look at the ceiling of the restaurant.
