It is in a lovely area and the service is super nice, very wa and friendly, if I was to live in Amsterdam, this would be my to go to joint to hang out for a drink. The food is average, nothing amazing. We had fantastic Margeritas, I cak really recommend them.

Lovely little restaurant in a quiet part of town with the best nachos I have ever tasted. Great food, great host and a very chilled atmosphere.

After reading all the reviews we thought this would be a great place to go for a meal. As we are tourists, we did struggle to find it but we were determined we would. We could not fault the service. They were friendly and quick to give us menus and take our order. We were surprised to see a cat... More

We decided to go to a Mexican restaurant during our recent stay in Amsterdam and opted for Los Pilones in the Jordaan, which was closed (it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). We knew that Caramba was a short walk away and so went there instead. It was a Monday evening and so it was very quiet and we got... More

This seemed like a good choice for a Mexican food fix. Bar seemed to have variety of tequilas, a good sign. Props to the friendly and attentive staff. Margaritas were fine tho small for 6Euro. The chicken fajitas were drenched in a sauce that seemed like a cross between teriyaki and bbq - so wrong! Guacamole below average. Ambience is... More

We had dinner at the action packed Caramba restaurant without making a reservation. We did not have to wait long for a seat (which we found out later we were lucky, as most restaurants in the area are quickly reserved) despite it being a full house. The servers were friendly, and we ordered drinks and beers that were tasty. My... More

We were tired, cold and wet and opted to go across the road from our hotel to the Caramba restaurant and what a great decision it proved to be. We were instantly welcomed and the food was generous and delicious.

Average food - what you would expect from a run of the mill Mexican. Home made salsa was a plus but the fajitas were pretty poor. Only two tortillas , no extra toppings (cheese/sour cream etc) and the chicken was thigh meat not breast. Not worth a long walk just to visit it but good enough if your passing.

Always delicious, every time we eat here, we wonder why we don't come more regularly. We had a nacho's dish with chicken and burrito's, both delicious, followed by flan, also delicious!!

It was a lovely day. We sat outside and ordered drinks and chips with guacamole and dinner. We got our drinks and appetizer. Three other couples came. After waiting for over 15 mins, one got up and left...then another left. The third, dutch speaking twentysomething young women, got tons of attention AND THEIR FOOD. We never saw the waiter again....
