if you happen to be in the area, it is a great for coffee and dessert. Meals looked good as well. We had tiramisu and some lovely lemon pie for a dessert.

A nice spot for outdoor seating (when the weather cooperates) on the Beethovenstraat. I met friends for lunch and we all enjoyed a nice sandwich. It looks like there is a nice selection of pizza and pasta on the menu as well. I'll certainly come back again to check out the pizzas as this spot is a short bike ride... More

We thought we'd check out all of the local neighborhood eateries near our hotel (Hampshire Beethoven). After walking up and down Beethovenstraat looking at menus, atmosphere, etc, we finally settled on the cosy-looking Italian restaurant right across the road. The staff were very friendly, especially the funky waiter, and the place was busy - always a good sign. All four... More

Clearly reheated pasta, watery tasteless sauce. Starter dip had fermented! Chef tried it and immediately spat it out in front of us, but I noticed another table with the same dish, who were not told, or offered a replacement. Tiny glass of house white wine was 4.50 euros, and very poor.

We had a very nice pizza here. Friendly, local place - not at all touristy. Attentive and pleasant staff.

Service was good but the food lacked and was expensive for the quality, 10-12 euro for lasagne or a pasta dish. Try De Barone instead a far better quality meal. Graeme

Right across the street from our Hotel Hampshire Beethoven, we dropped in only because we were hungry, tired, and did not feel like walking more after a long day. We were happily surprised when we were served a fantastic meal of authentic Italian pizzas. The food other tables were eating (pasta) looked excellent too. Very good value, cosy atmosphere, lovely... Relaxed vibe, delicious pasta and pizza, fresh and creative salads, and a welcoming and friendly staff. A great little neighbourhood place with very reasonable prices. The kids loved the pasta and pizza too. A fast and efficient kitchen means no long wait for meals. We went twice for dinner during our six-day visit. If we lived there we'd go all... More

Gem of a place! I must admit I didn't expect such good food from this place. It was conveniently across the road from our hotel - so one tired night we took the easy option of a restaurant across the road and I'm glad we did. Why were we surprised? From the outside the place doesn't look like much and... More
