You should only drink margaritas here. Not exactly mexican food i guess. Any kind of food is disguisting. Nachos, burritos, quesedillas, fajitas (not cooked in sauce even not grilles) all were not tasty, not good not similar to one we know actually. My advice no food yes drinks

The chef recommended the mixed chicken and minced beef burrito and I loved every bit of it. There was so much comfort about dining here and almost everything from dips to the tortilla wraps were made by them.

Judging from older reviews, Burrito used to be a local favorite, serving down-to-earth dishes for a friendly price. Since then, prices have gone up (but are not rediculous) and the quality has taken a dive. Margherita's were fine, bt the rest of the meal under par. How does a Mexican restaurant manage to ruin the simplest entree: tortilla chips with... More

We had tacos and burritos and the food was plentiful, very tasty and was like homemade food. We could not fault what we ate in any way, it came out piping hot and was extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered our children fries to go with their meal, rather than rice or beans. Good vegetarian choices... More

This is not a glossy, expensive, spot-lit and marble-tiled restaurant with delicate flower arrangements on the tables. Thank god for that. It's very slightly scruffy with warmly coloured decor and old black white photos of Mexico on the walls. The menu is flexible and the friendly waiting staff will help you decide what exactly is the most tasty way to... More

We were staying in the Alp Hotel and on the Saturday night we went to Café Burrito. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were very warm and friendly. The food is nice and somewhere I would go again

When you first see Burrito from the street, there is nothing to be excited about. It's rather small and in a quiet neighborhood. However, once inside you feel at home with the cozy tables and standard "Mexican" style decor. If you're looking for the crazy, lively, tourist filled bar - this is not it. This is a family run business,... More

Wow - can't believe the first review was so positive. I just got back from diner there and I actually feel poisoned. This place makes taco bell seem gourmet. They served me a heap of steaming quesadilla with warm soggy lettuce inside and a big mess of cheesy nastiness. If you want good mexican in amsterdam - the only place... More

I have waited too long to write this review. I just didn't want our little secret to get out, but I couldn't wait any longer. People shouldn't miss this tasty treat when visiting Amsterdam. The real name of the restaurant is Burrito Mexicaan Restaurant. We've lived in Amsterdam for almost 2 years, and I've tried many a Mexican restaurant in... More
