The atmosphere of this place is really nice and so is the food. We had quesadillas de queso for starter, and 2 chimichangas (chicken and minced meat) for main. The starter was lovely. I would also recommend the chimi with minced meat. We were served some probably-homemade salsa with warm nachos as a welcome treat from the restaurant. I won't... More

On our first night in Amsterdam me and my girlfriend went exploring not to far from our hotel to find somewhere to eat. There were plenty of options to choose from but this restaurant had a wide choice of food and was very reasonably priced. We decided to go for the Alfonsos's Antojitos which is described on the menu as... More

Nice authentically designed restaurant and good service, but not the cheapest. Water is already on the table implying it’s free but it’s not, which is very cheeky. The fajita’s had a lot of chicken but only 1 tiny pepper & hardly any onions, and we were given 6 tortilla’s between 3 people who all had their own €19 portion of... More

Every half a year I come and visit Amsterdam. So there's no excuse for not visiting this amazing Tex Mex restaurant! First of all you're dining in a small authentic old building, when walking upstairs to the toilets; the interior is prodigious! Just stand for a few minutes and enjoy it. The food is delicious; i always choose a tortilla... More

This place was utterly empty at 5.30, and I soon found out why... I ordered the burritos and a sol beer which unfortunately was warm...the manager set out bowls of salsa which didnt seem advisable given the number of flies buzzing about. Next thing I heard a series of peeps and realised it was the microwave in action! Ive eaten... More

My partner and I visited this restaurant on a whim as it was about 10.30pm and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. We both love Mexican so thought we'd give it a try. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats and the service was quick. However, this place proves a stark contrast to many reviews on Trip advisor. The... More

For about 20 years I go to this place, and not without a reason! So far they never disappointed me! This tex/mex restaurant is just of the Rembrandtplein and is located in a very old shop and has some typical old fashioned Amsterdam features. For example the typical extremely steep and narrow staircase which leads to the first floor and... More

Great food for a good price and good service! We went there a but early on a busy Friday night, we had no problem with getting a table and eat some really nice quesiladas and corn as starters. For mains we had enchiladas and a really nice spicy chilli con carne and ate too much.. All that for about 60€

Comfy location. The meal was delicious. Super friendly waitress were a nice addon. I highly recommend this place even if the main dishes aren’t that cheap.
