We spent many an hour, enjoying the friendly atmosphere and drinks in this lovely quaint bar. The staff were great fun and made our numerous visits very enjoyable.

We tend to visit Cafe Tabac during the day, but we have seen it packed in the evening. It has just a few tables outside on the corner of Brouwersgracht so you can watch the world go by. Inside there is a famous view out of the double height sash windows across Prinsengracht to the Noorderkerk church in the Jordaan,... More

Didn't eat here, but stopped in for a late night drink because it looked cozy inside and it was - very friendly and cool spot.

Nice bar when in the Jordaan area. Always very full so if you see a seat try to catch it. Sometimes music can be a bit loud, but cool crowd compensates!

I enjoy going to Tabac and sitting outside by the canal. It's great for people watching. The Jordaan is full of nice Cafes and Tabac is one of the best.

We came to Amsterdam recently for a weekend. We stumbled across cafe tabac by accident having tried to go to another bar which was too busy. We loved this place and was the higlight of the bars we visited (and we went to quite a few!). Bar staff were super friendly, and we got table service. Music complete mix of... More

Discovered Tabac about 5 years ago when I first started going to Amsterdam and return every time. Staff is friendly and they make a good mojito. When it's nice outside, you can sit around the corner overlooking the canal. Great place to pop in to get some bitterballen and other yummy bar snacks. Worth the trip!

Tabac is a nice little bar in the jordaan district of amsterdam. We ate here recently as they serve a selection of small asian dishes which was recommended by a friend. The food was fine and typical fusion food with decent flavours. The place gets busy at weekends but its a nice spot and has a great atmosphere. Everyone is... More

Cafe Tabac is located in one of the nicest and most pittoresque neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. Next to it, two canals come together and you have a nice view of all the little enlighted bridges. During the evenings, the bar/restaurant gets quite busy but always sourrounded by a nice athmosphere. The food is rather plain and the 'borrelhappjes' (little snacks you... More
