Bridges Inspired by Ron Blaauw Bridges seafood restaurant is located at the front of Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, the location and the building are special. Bridges restaurant is all about fish! The best 'fins' possible, caught at the best moment. Always in season, never out of it. We offer a large selection of mainly Dutch seafood, whether it is in the restaurant, the Bar or the Cocktail Bar. Local, organic vegetables complement the seafood; a perfect match of the sea meeting the land, with a French twist. The Wine Room is stocked with 'great whites'; fish just needs good 'vins'.

A remarkable spot right in the busy amsterdam tourist center, but the place itself is a quiet oasis in this turmoil. Very good service and explanation, personal from entry till leaving. We came for a three course lunch. We started with a small amuse, where sweet and salt were battling, followed by three other amuses with delicate small raw fish.... More

Lucky enough to be entertained here on a press trip to Amsterdam. The food was impeccable - a real taste explosion. The weather was great, and sitting outside in the beautiful garden really added to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely hope to return some time soon.

OK so the service was a little inattentive to begin with and we had to wait after we had been seated for a good 10 minutes to be recognized as a fare paying customer. After that it was spectacular! We had the 6 course taster, everything was perfect and was accompanied by the perfect wine selection described by the waiter... More

After reading the reviews about this place I was very excited to eat here. Everyone who gave this place a good review has no idea what a good restaurant is. This place does not deserve the title restaurant! Service was poor, slow, bad coordination, too many staff members for a small place, no one with actual skills!!! The food was... More

The entrance is inside the Hotel The Grand. Be sure to make a reservation otherwise you may be dissapointed if it's fully booked. Inside the restaurant is a small but very nice Bistro with tastefull dishes. Don't forget to ask for the winecart. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice and casual.

We enjoyed Bridges' 6 course tasting menu which is pretty much all fish. The paired wines were expertly matched and that was a real highlight. They also tailor glass sizes to suit and did half glasses as needed. Staff were friendly and informative but service not quite as slick as you might want.

Very nice and modern restaurant, with a casual atmosphere. They offer a great variety of fine wines, and the sommelier really enjoys his job. The 6-course menu includes some interesting (or even weird, in a good sense) dishes. I guess, it will match every foody's taste. I would recommend it, especially for the wine.
