Bridges Inspired by Ron Blaauw Bridges seafood restaurant is located at the front of Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, the location and the building are special. Bridges restaurant is all about fish! The best 'fins' possible, caught at the best moment. Always in season, never out of it. We offer a large selection of mainly Dutch seafood, whether it is in the restaurant, the Bar or the Cocktail Bar. Local, organic vegetables complement the seafood; a perfect match of the sea meeting the land, with a French twist. The Wine Room is stocked with 'great whites'; fish just needs good 'vins'.

This is a wonderful high end restaurant, offering amazing food. It is certainly one of the expensive restaurants in Amsterdam, but I thought it was very reasonable compared to similar restaurants in New York, London and Paris.

We booked the restaurant hoping to have a real food experience but unfortunately we were disappointed. The quality of the food is not really worth the (high) price we paid, for example the lobster served with the main course had the consistency of rubber and not much taste, the rest was OK, but just OK, so not at the level... Ate here on the night we arrived, 26th April 2015 and both got FOOD POISONING. Ordered from the menu, both ate the same dishes BUT, as with many restaurants these days, we were served 'amuse bouches' inc some seafood sat on top of a piece of coral (really) that seemed better placed in a fish tank. Within hours my partner... More

Excellent service, and outstanding food! All plates are presented really nice with a lot of creativity and effort. Of course you pay for it but it's worth it for a 100%! Go there and taste the different of a micheline star restaurant

Excellent service and menu. The plates comes as pieces of art, so beautiful, that you nearly do not want to touch them. The food is delicious- always balance between tastes and textures. The only dissonant- the bathrooms were not clean- this cannot be.

Beautiful setting and amazing food. For Dinner, opt for seafood and you won't be disappointed. Innovative cuisine, stylishly presented. We had an appetizer of raw clams arrayed on faux coral branches in the shell! Pine needle infused sorbet.... a double wow. Lovely wine selection. Terrific for breakfast too.

A remarkable spot right in the busy amsterdam tourist center, but the place itself is a quiet oasis in this turmoil. Very good service and explanation, personal from entry till leaving. We came for a three course lunch. We started with a small amuse, where sweet and salt were battling, followed by three other amuses with delicate small raw fish.... More

Lucky enough to be entertained here on a press trip to Amsterdam. The food was impeccable - a real taste explosion. The weather was great, and sitting outside in the beautiful garden really added to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely hope to return some time soon.
