Our hotel recommended this restaurant. The food was nicely prepared and tasted great. We enjoyed the fish and it was easy to get a table on a busy night.

The staff at our equally fabulous hotel, Banks Mansion, recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint-the service, food, atmosphere were all excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

This was once two restaurants that merged some 10 years back and now you have an excellent Seafood / Beef restaurant. We took the Tram in from the Museumplein area where we were staying and enjoyed this downtown restaurant not far from Rembrandtplein Square. Two of us had the Hare (rabbit) special which was excellent while my wife had the... More

Went here for dinner on Boxing Day. The restaurant was really busy so had a great atmosphere. Staff were fantastic and the variety and standard of the food was excellent - beautifully presented and really delicious (not to mention good value for money too). A good choice in Amsterdam.

Our final night and third restaurant on Utrechtestraat. Great food and service in a great setting amongst locals. I had the three course surprise fish menu and was wowed by the first course of leek and potato soup poured over langoustines. The main course was a delicious pan fried red fish with rosti potato and grilled vegetables. Overall we all... More

We had passed this place a couple of times and then rather randomly decided to book a table having quickly looked at the menu. What a great treat that was, all the more so for being unexpected. The rooms are tidy and unfussy, the service is frendly and attentive but the food is wonderful - well prepared and served -... More

An excellent choice for a final night in Amsterdam. The food is of very high quality; both the smoked zeebaars and the kabeljauw (cod) were superb, and the white house wine an excellent accompaniment. The Amaretto creme brulee is number two in the world; the only one to beat it that I know of is the Amarula creme brulee served... More

As a tourist, I was not on the dutch schedule for what is to me early diner. I showed up quite late for dutch standards. The service remained admirably cordial. The meal started with a herring salad with apple, imaginative, perfectly season (delicately). I wanted fish! After all, we can often forget that the Nederlands is a nation by the... More

What a fabulous evening! First, I must tell you we had to cancel our reservations at the last minute because we had guests that we took on a bike ride and she had an accident so we couldn't go! I called the restaurant and they were not only understanding, but concerned for my friend. When we reschedule a few days... More
