Not complete rijsttafel, but very good!

If you like Indonesian food you will be happy here. The owner is very happy to interact with you and is very proud of what he has attained. It makes for great fun. The food is excellent and the price is good. Don't expect to eat here with a big group. It is a small hole in the wall, but... read more

Apparently authentic indonesian food. It is very small, cheap, and the food is filling, tasty and hot (spicy and temp.). Service is basic, as is furniture, and no alcoholic drinks are served.

The owner proudly showed us the book 'Where Chefs Eat' where we could see the writeup on his restaurant. This tiny hole in the wall is family run and your meals are cooked fresh. If you like Indonesian dishes this place is for you. Don't expect glitz but do expect a good home-cooked meal.

This small restaurant, close to Dam Square, has a small menu of home-style Indonesian dishes. Food was excellent and portions generous. The service was quick and pleasant. Good value for money. Recommended for a quick, inexpensive meal.

Solid and tasty family style Indonesian dining experience with a local , comfortable flare! The sound and fried rice/ lamb dish were spot on!

My uncle and aunt brought me here when I visited Amsterdam for Easter break. Came here only once and only tried their Gado-gado (kind of Indonesian salad, steam veggies with peanut sauce and prawn cracker). For me, who is an Indonesian student living in the North West of England, it is extremely hard to find Indonesian food, and I do... More

My first experience with Indonesian. The food in itself is probably not my favourite, I'm not sure i'm a big fan of the flavours, but my meal was war, had a nice smell and was cooked before my eyes so I can't say there was any faults in it. The place is small but tidy and the service is fast... More

We went later on a Friday night and the place was empty. The service was a bit on the slow side since they were wrapping up for the evening. We got a tasty gado-gado entree which had a nicely flavored peanut sauce and crunchy vegetables,

We were walking in this area and noticed this restaurant. It looked a bit like a small bistrot but it was raining and we were hungry so we came in. We are not very familiar with the indonesian food but it was very good and tasty. The lady serving us was nice and helpful and the price was very friendly...... More
