We initially tried this place at my boss's suggestion. Our first night in, we tried the duck. We now affectionately refer to this experience as "Duckpocalypse" as when you are finished with the duck experience, you are done both physically and mentally. It is such an amazing session of never ending duck served so many ways that it boggles the... More

Definitely the best chinese in Amsterdam. Staff always friendly and highly skilled, the way it should be. The Peking duck menu is seriously the best we've had in Europe. Personally I come to this restaurant for 25 years now and have never been disappointed, I'll be back :P

went there with friends, a bit spicy and quite expensive for me personally. You can have a try over there but is not the best option for dinner i think.

The food would deserve a better mark (over the average of a Chinese restaurant), but I think the place is too expensive: we have payed more than 40 euro each and we have drunk only tea. We have eaten two appetizers, one portion of fried, crispy duck (very good endeed) and one portion of beef (quite good). As I've said,... More

My first impression was: "funny place". The interior is Chinese kitsch from a cheap decoration chain store. But that didn't bother us at all: it gives the place a funny, quirky style. We felt very comfortable. We took the surprise tasting menu, "Sichuan Delights", and got some excellent appetisers (dim sum, crab croquette, ...), very good duck... Only the dessert,... More

The duck is the signature dish at this restaurant - at 78 euros for 2 people we were slightly reluctant to order. The skin is served up in pancakes for the first course (3 per person), the meat of the duck comes last in 3 different dishes, and in the middle was a tasty soup. Certainly the most memorable Peking... More

The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance and is very inviting. The food is good but not special, when I saw the menu with the high € I was expecting special. I was disappointed when I was served typical Chinese food you'd find at a take-a-way or any soho walk in restaurant. The food does not match the pricing, I'm... More

The foods were tasty and the service was also fine, we thought it was a traditional Sichuan Restaurant, but it is a mixed chinese-western restaurant, anyway we were all happy with this small disappointment. The portion of food is too small, so overall it's very pricy compare to other restaurant.
