great food

My Dutch friend ordered the pickled fire fish for me. It was delicious. The waitress failed to bring us our drinks, it took three times asking before she brought the drinks. Fortunately the food made up for that. Make a stop, you will not be sorry.

Thanks to the reviewers that went before me and rated this restaurant as excellent. This is absolutely right. From the mixed starters to the main dish, everything was well prepared and tasty. I regretted not to have ordered the Peking duck, because that's what you see most people eat here and must be their signature dish. That will be on... More

This is one heck of an eating experience and the duck is simply out of this world. Not just the food is superb but the service is wonderful. My only advice is to book in advance as this restaurant is small and its reputation is huge ! Possibly be of the best Chinese meals I have ever tasted!

My friends and I went there last year, and my one friend from Taiwan said it was the best Beijing Duck she has ever had! I went back again in January, and the food is just as incredible as last year! The service is impeccable, all round a highly recommendable experience!

We initially tried this place at my boss's suggestion. Our first night in, we tried the duck. We now affectionately refer to this experience as "Duckpocalypse" as when you are finished with the duck experience, you are done both physically and mentally. It is such an amazing session of never ending duck served so many ways that it boggles the... More

Definitely the best chinese in Amsterdam. Staff always friendly and highly skilled, the way it should be. The Peking duck menu is seriously the best we've had in Europe. Personally I come to this restaurant for 25 years now and have never been disappointed, I'll be back :P

went there with friends, a bit spicy and quite expensive for me personally. You can have a try over there but is not the best option for dinner i think.

The food would deserve a better mark (over the average of a Chinese restaurant), but I think the place is too expensive: we have payed more than 40 euro each and we have drunk only tea. We have eaten two appetizers, one portion of fried, crispy duck (very good endeed) and one portion of beef (quite good). As I've said,... More

My first impression was: "funny place". The interior is Chinese kitsch from a cheap decoration chain store. But that didn't bother us at all: it gives the place a funny, quirky style. We felt very comfortable. We took the surprise tasting menu, "Sichuan Delights", and got some excellent appetisers (dim sum, crab croquette, ...), very good duck... Only the dessert,... More
