Elegant, friendly and delicious

Seasons is about a 10 minute walk from Central Station in a quiet street, across picturesque canals. We ate there as we had a free three course meal for two due to our four night stay at Blaine's B&B (also recommended) but we would happily eat there again at full price (which is mid-range at around... read more

We came over to Amsterdam to celebrate my 50th Birthday and came here for our meal in the evening. We had the three course option and enjoyed all the courses. Normally I struggle to eat three courses but they were small-medium portions and balanced each other. We were not hurried by the welcoming staff. We would definitely go back again... More

This is a small unassuming restaurant in a quiet area, but well worth seeking out. Decor is simple but effective, service is laid-back but competent, and the menu is small but interesting. My only criticism is the limited space: like in many buildings here the room is narrow, and if you're seated at the central aisle you can expect to... More

We really enjoyed our dinner. Everything was fantastic from the service to the food. The atmosphere was also very nice. We recommend the 3 course menu, it is very good value. For two of us dining at dinner, the 3 course menu plus a bottle of the house red, came to 75 EUR. We highly recommend.

The concept is simple: a menu put together with the best of the ingredients available during each season. We had the pleasure of dining here twice (it was so good, I had to ask my husband to eat at the restaurant again before parting Amsterdam). The owner/manager was very professional and knowledgeable. The wine list is decent and fairly priced.... More

Our female waitress, was great, she spoke english really well, and was extremely helpful! The food was awesome, we did a 3 course meal it was all good! We wish we went there for our second night also for dinner, b/c the service at the second place was not even comparable, at the Bistro neuf

I have been to seasons three times now. Every time I go the food is wonderful and the service is wonderful. The place is small but the taste is big. So it's definitely worth the trip.

the fixed menu is a great value as the food is original, fresh and very well presented. portions aregenerous, and there is wide choice to please those preferring meat, fish or vegetarian. the american chef likes his seasonings and is both daring and restrained in using them. you can get the dishes prepared to your taste, but it is a... We have been patronizing Seasons Restaurant for several years now. We've enjoyed many wonderful dinners there with family, friends and business associates. The atmosphere is casual, but refined, the service is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious - the inspired menu changes seasonally, and the price is very reasonable. My only complaint is that they've become so popular that... More

Staying in Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)

Neighborhood Profile
Canal Ring (Grachtengordel)
This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
