We had an amazing meal with the kids looking over the canal and the boats passing by!! Kids love the duck and the pasta!!! Really nice ambience!

We were on our way to the airport via central station and decided to have a nice meal before we left. The food was decent but pricey for the portions. We had suitcases with us and the older lady was quite rude to us on arrival. One of the servers explained that "that's the way she behaves". Very unacceptable. I... More

We visited at 3pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was very quiet. It was also very cold inside, though none of the staff noticed I sat with my hat and scarf on throughout the meal. No one greeted us at the door; we weren't allowed a table in the window as they were for 4 people only (we were... More

Just had a meal. The food was no better than a takeaway in Newcastle but at Three times the price. Servers surly and indifferent then had the cheek to insist on a 10% tip which I did not pay. Prawn crackers excellent, decor mind blowing which is, I guess why the prices are so high.

Ate here in a party of 12 for my girlfriends birthday and the food was amazing. Very expensive for what it is though but the atmosphere and décor is worth it. Service was also slow but it was friendly and the place is a big.

This is a huge floating barge on a canal right in front of the Doubletree hotel. We were recommended by the concierge and it did not disappoint. It can supposedly accommodate up to 500 people but they have the serving routine down and it was a great experience. The calamari appetizer was really good and I had a spicy pork... More

Went here on 3rd of January as looked like a really cool resteraunt. Unfortunately should have known it was a bit of a tourist trap and not authentic Chinese food at all which we were hoping for. We booked table so seated straight away but as resteraunt is so big it's quite noisy. Wasn't too impressed with menu and felt... More

The atmosphere is awesome in this fun, vibrant restaurant. Very glad we tried this place! The food was fine, although a little pricey for "pretty good" Chinese food, but the views outside and the energy inside made it worthwhile. We were in and out within an hour, and although the waiters weren't overly smiley, our service was prompt and accurate.

We went to the Sea Palace for dinner on 29th December as visited Amsterdam from Scotland for new year and stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton. We waited 10 minutes for someone to approach us about a table then were told it would be a 40 minute wait so we left and came back - the host just shrugged her... More
