Description: The Teppan-chefs will prepare the most delicious fish, meat and vegetarian dishes on a hot iron griddle at your table: a la minute cooking with Japanese precision. The contemporary Japanese interior, inspired by the elements of stone, wood, water and fire, is an oasis of tranquillity. The teppanyaki griddles are large enough for seven to ten guests and are ideal for both business and celebratory dinners. Sazanka is open for dinner from 18:30 to 22:00 daily. Lunch can be prepared for a minimum group size of 10 people and must be booked in advance.

The food was great and I was amazed at how fast the service was. Even though the restaurant was full it didn't take more than 10-15 minutes before we had everything we ordered. Sure it's a little pricey but it was totaly worth it

I will admit, hopes were high as the restaurant has just received a Michelin star, and in no way did it disappoint. My partner and I are definitely fans of Teppanyaki cooking, so were more than intrigued when we came across this whilst researching where to eat. We both opted for the seasonal menu at €110, for the sake of... More

This is a pretty good restaurant I have been. Typical japanese food. But the price is little bit high for me:( so if you are a student, you want pay less, this is not the best choice. But you are not a student, this will be a nice restaurant.

Truly an amazing experience service was excellent the chef handled multiple menus in a relaxed fashion. The wild duck was exceptional on the seasonal menu. Prices are high 90-120 euros from the menus but very generous. Oysters are roasted in the grill. Fish cooked in a salt crust Kobe beef rolled around greens and seared. All before the main course... Food quality was very good and nicely prepared and presented. Cooked to perfection by the chef that prepares everything to your request. Nice atmosphere and service was good but not outstanding as you would expect especially taking in mind the very expensive cost. Overall a very good experience and I would go back again.

Best ever Japanese restaurant. Service is amazing, food is all cooked in front of you and is excellent quality. Wine list is very wide. The restaurant is big, and you sit with other people in front the chef that cooks everything on the Teppanyaki grill. Price is expensive but worth value for the quality you get. This was one of... This is the 3rd time I've attended Sazanka Restaurant at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam. Have to say the quality of the food was fantastic. I usually ordered the Sazanka Seasonal Menu as would like to have the best the restaurant has to offer. This meal did not disappoint! It's not for the faint-hearted inside the pocket. Instead of telling... More

As closure of 2013, our company had Christmas dinner at Sazanka in Amsterdam. Although used to high standard dining, the whole evening was one positive experience. Surprising dishes to an exquisite level, every course a new treat in taste and appearance; Top quality service of the staff whole evening through. An absolute recommendation for both private and business dining.
