I frequent this place often... I live in Amsterdam and being an Ex-Pat I know how difficult it is to find a friendly fun place where I can eat a simple snack or a large dinner and have a great cocktail. The team work really hard and are very passionate. They take complaints very seriously and always with a smile.... More

After searching for a nice Mexican restaurant, we found this restaurant. We first ordered some nacho's with guacamole and melted cheese. That was already amazing made and as main course we ordered an enchilada and a burger. It really was amazing food even though they were big meals.

Had a great night here. The waiter was brilliant the food was incredibly tasty and the venue has a really cool feel about it. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice margarita and some good food. If I had a criticism it would be that I think fajitas and pork Pibil should be on every Mexican menu. But that's... More

Sunday evening around 9pm and the place was quite quiet. Lovely garden area at the rear that took you away from the hustle and bustle at the front. Food really was excellent, good Mexican choices and some dishes i'd not seen before. Fish dishes especially good. 3 courses with beer comes to about 25-30 euros a head. Outstanding value for... More

I visit this restaurant since it opened in 1982. Last Saturday we visited this restaurant after a couple of years and I was very pleasantly surprised. The menu was changed and the atmosphere was very nice. The food was really great and for the Dutch important big portions :-). We definately are going to come back and try the other... More

Amsterdam has so many great restaurants but if the craving for something with good flavour and a bit spicy grabs you then head over to Rose's. It was busy but the service was very good overall and waiting times were better than average. Portions are generous and the drinks are not overpriced given the setting and location. The outside seating... More

Rose's has it all...now! Casual non pretentious friendly atmosphere with great food (menu seems to change frequently, seasonal I think) My first visit to Rose's over a year ago was a different story, service staff lacked timing and attentiveness, now service staff are just on it! and there is a notable improvement in the food menu. I've dined at Rose's... More

Rose's Cantina was recommended as a place to enjoy very good Mexican food so my wife and I went for dinner. Arriving about 1900 we had our choice of tables. Once a waitperson came to our table, we ordered a bottle of still water (E5), two glasses of wine (E4.50 each), my wife a Pulled Pork Taco (came with two)... More

We went here 2 years ago to eat with a group of friends, and had our dining experience ruined by a cranky waitress. Food was good, and we had more than one waiter, but she alone managed to ruin this experience for us. Yelling "Yes!" triumphantly when we ask for the bill is just not acceptable.

This is a place to be if you want to have a drink and bite before you go party! Lovely cocktails and service is great as well. This place is something you can't miss if you love Mexican stuff.
