This is a great bar for a relaxing drink either before or after dinner. The bar is crafted in a traditional yet contemporary style befitting an old hotel in Amsterdam. Other rooms/lounges in the bar have their own motif, but all are meticulously decorated and equally soothing. The bartender/mixologist was very courteous and efficient in his endeavors. I knew I... The breakfast buffet was not at all worth the price. the selection was limited, not fresh and frequently empty. The staff was overwhelmed and difficult to track down.

We really enjoyed the Pulitzer bar before going for dinner across the street (rainarai). Great red wines were enjoyed together with a huge platter of an assortment of delicious liver pate, sausages, cheese and croqettes. Yet another great place to return to when in Amsterdam.

Blue, Red, Black -pick your favourite. open till late night, belonging to the Pulitzer Hotel. I had very fine time and enyojed every minute. THe entrance on the Keizergracht is already part of the experience. Rather high standards -fine dressing is suggested.

I enjoyed a business lunch here and was unimpressed by the quality of the food. We were with a party of 40 persons, and the 3-course dinner consisted of some gambas in garlic oil, a main course with chicken and mashed potatoes and a crème brule. The food was mediocre at best and prepared without fantasy. The chicken was very... More
