Wandering around the canals we chanced upon Puccini Bomboni, the sight of all the chocolates from the street pulls you into the store, oh wow the smell on entering, stunning chocolates. Chocolates can be bought as you fancy or there are pre-packaged chocolates ready to go. The range of flavours is extensive which makes decision making a little tricky, the... More

The chocolate was so rich that I could not tell one flavor from another. I like creams but these were very rich, hard to describe, closer to pudding? I bought allot of them, since I decided to skip a beer or two at a tavern (the one I went to was closed), but had a hard time eating them, I... More

We came upon recommendation just to grab a few chocolates to go. The variety is huge and the taste is just delicious! We will be back very soon, that's for sure. Not so cheap but worth it, in my opinion.

This is the absolutely best place in Amsterdam to find chocolates. Even if you have to go slightly out of your way, it is well worth it. The chocolates are fresh and most delectable! We enjoy the honey filled chocolates as well as the raspberry. Devine - it's like you are in chocolate heaven!

The Puccini Bomboni is a nice place for a lunch, close to the Waterloo square, at 10 - 15 minutes from the Magere Brug. The small cafe offers a broad choice of pasta, panini, salads and home-made cakes. Everything is very tasty. The staff speaks very well English. Forget the address if you are in a hurry... It is a... I sometimes make a detour when in Amsterdam to pick up some treats here - absolutely divine - among the best chocolates I've ever had.

I think the other reviewers put it well. Outrageous in taste and price, but keep in mind that while each chocolate is a couple of Euros, they are large (good size for sharing IF you are willing). My favorite is the Calvados. Looks like white chocolate, but that's only the outside case that holds an apple brandy chocolate center. It's... More

Stopped in and could not decide what to get so ended up with a box of outrageously decadent & outrageously priced chocolates? A must stop in for even one but good luck picking out just one with so many choices. Worth every penny.
