I usually hate to eat at hotel restuarants as the food is usually just average at best. The Bilderberg Garden Hotel is the exception to the rule. This is a must visit restaurant. If you stay at the hotel either reserve before you get to Amsterdam or beg for a table at check-in. This is a Michelin rated restaurant and... More

I've had a few trainings now in the Bilderberg hotel, where the Kersentuin is located. Both times I went there and had lunch I didn't like the selection of sandwiches they had available and was very hungry for the remaining of the day. The soup they served was quite nice though. Be aware, that my experience is based on the... More

The second time we visited De Kersentuin and after last year's experience, my expectation was high. We chose the restaurant week menu of 4 course, my partner added the wine arrangement. Our seating was perfect, following my note from the email reservation for quite romantic spot for two. Amuse & appetizers served before and after the first course are very... More

Last year we dined at this restaurant and vowed to return. This year we stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and dined again at the restaurant. Once again the food was superb, service was excellent and good value for money. We chose off the 2 set price menus which also offer accompanying wines for each course. Just perfect, we... More

I had the asparagus menu If you could eat looks, it would have been great Everything was beautifully prepared and elegant Why terrible then? The first dish had seared tuna that was spoiled I eat seared tuna often and this was simply bad tuna. The second course was a beautiful tail portion of some white fish but it was so... More

We liked very much the Royal Fish, The restaurant is right at the hotel we were staying. Wines are expensive, They serve small appetizers before and after the meal that were very good. We definetely would return there even being on another hotel.

We both choose the four meals choice and had a wonderful experience and service. No doubt, probably one the best high class meals for a reasonable price you could get in Amsterdam or even NL! Go for it next time :-)

We chose the chef's 4 course special. The food was so fantastic in taste and presentation. Flavors galore! It did take a while between courses so after 2.5hrs we asked for the dessert to be brought up to our room and that completed a wonderful meal.

It was a curious experience to eat there with my son and daughter-in-law after I had last been there with my husband-to-be. At the time it was a bit of a 'holy' experience with the Japanese influences. I must say that I missed that, the restaurant clearly reformed into something more for quantity of people than for quality of design.... More
