The high rating of this restaurant has been well deserved. The food, the wine (even the house wine was very tasty!), the service, the ambiance are excellent. We have added this place to our list of favorites.

Visited with a friend who recently moved to Amsterdam. Followed the recommendation of the waiter, it was really nice. Great mix of not your everday ingredients, giving a superb and unexpected mix of flavors.

Morrocan food. Never had this type food but it was very good. Everyone was friendly including the locals next to us who we had a great conversation with. The Morrocan chardonnay was excellent (I usually don't like it). Go with the waiter's recommendations.

Situated in the friendly De Pijp neighbourhood in Amsterdam, but close to the centre, this restaurant is regularly praised as the best Morroccan restaurant in the city. That seems plausible on the basis of our experience. Excellent food at very reasonable prices in a relaxing environment - a small and busy restaurant which still manages to be intimate. A good... It is easy to see how this got a 'Certificate of Excellence'. We had been recommended this restaurant by 'To the Lobby' a service offered by our B&B and we were not disappointed. when we arrived the place was full and immediately the relaxed atmosphere hit you. We were sat at a candlelit table and I was facing the open... More

Went there with my wife on a Sunday evening and we had a great meal. The restaurant was very nicely decorated with an open kitchen. Wife and I each had a starter an they were both great, she had a raw tuna dish and I had the goat cheese starter. For entrees she enjoyed the sea bass very much, while... More

Mamouche is one of the places that make the De Pijp neighborhood such a fun place to stay: very friendly and attentive service, a small but terrific wine list and - of course - great Moroccan food make this restaurant a must. The Al Warda grilled fish is just divine.

Our taxi driver suggested Mamouche. We'd asked for a chic restaurant that could serve one vegan and one vegetarian. Although we were surprised how good his recommendation was, we shouldn't have been - it was his town. The restaurant is charming, our waiter - I think the only waiter - was delightful, efficient, helpful and knowledgable. The food was wonderful... More

We chose this restaurant for one of our evening meals whilst on a short break to Amsterdam. So glad we did - the food was as we hoped and the service better . I can recommend it.
