From first impressions of a charming dining room up a spiral staircase, through the attentive service, excellent food, and intimate atmosphere, Le Zinc et les Autres is a delight. My wife loved her venison while I was won over by king bass starter and my dorade main. A perfect place for dinner for two - although there were larger tables... More

For the past twelve years Edwin van Westrop has delighted clients with his memorable cuisine, provided in his small, highly atmospheric restaurant situated in an old warehouse along the Prinsengracht. The menu is short but this is because each dish is carefully crafted and highly original - salmon marinated as pastrami with smoked celeriac, confit of rabbit with chermoula and... More

The restaurant is very charming. Good service and food is delicious and well set. We had a bday party there and they were very good in managing all our requests. From vegan menu to lactosefree to glutenfree. Everyone was satisfacted with his food.

This restaurant was conveniently placed just across the canal from out hotel and had been recommended in guides, but not raved about, so we thought we'd try it. Reservations are essential as it is very popular especially at weekends. Although initially concerned that we were entering an empty room we went up the spiral staircase to the main restaurant, which... More

Romantic environment, white linens, delicious wines, excellent food. Here with a large party of 15, and the service was flawless. Only minor constructive criticism was my appetizer, could not really identify what it was until I bit into something that tasted like a gristly chicken nugget. Venison main was delicious, chocolate dessert heavenly. Visit if you can!

Charming character and warm, friendly staff. You choose number of courses and select between three foe each course. Everthing was very good but the liver and venison were fantastic. Also had two surprise amuse bouches which were perfect jolts of flavor. Fig and chocolate deserts were very good as well. Highly recommended.

Le Zinc et les autres is located in an typical old Amsterdam house at beautiful Prinsengracht. It has a lot of atmosphere even though it's a litte bit dark illuminated. The staff we've experienced is very polite and nice, especially the woman - she explained everything with real passion and emphasis. And the food is great. Ok, it's not a... More

Amsterdam was the last city we stayed in on an extensive vacation. The last evening there we had dinner at this quant little French restaurant on the canal. It's located in an old refurbished 2 story warehouse. We were seated upstairs in front of a wonderful arch window that overlooked the canal and quant neighborhood. The service was impeccable. The... If you want a local unpretentious restaurant that delivers quality unpretentious food - this is for you. This is a restaurant that would become a familiar regular if you were a local. I had the salmon entree that had tiny pickled onions. A real zing. I followed it with a duck entree. Both great dishes. The cheese board was served... More

Located in a very quiet area this restaurant should be awarded. As you enter the restaurant it feels very invitating and you'll get a warm welcome. Nothing to say for the simple by perfect service, but yet friendly. The choice for of dishes is limited by the quality at the top, every meal is accompagnied with high quality standard product...
