I was in a group of 7 people and all of us really liked the food we ordered. We decided to visit again the night after as we liked the food so much. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Dishes we especially liked were Lamb Jalfrezi, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Aloo and Butter Chicken. A must for... More

It was our first day in Amsterdam, wanted to have some celebration too..we went around exploring the Dam Square and found the hotel hidden inside an alley way..a nice surprise, though the ambiance seem average the food was nice.We ordered the basic lentil soup, khadhai paneer and breads..our request for making the food spicy was met with a smile, though service is... Restaurant smells strongly of stale spices, tables quite grimy. I'm glad I couldn't see the kitchen. Typical Indian restaurant. Waited 45 mins for our food to be served whilst others arriving later received their food sooner, our order was not large or special. Food not as good as on a previous visit, quite tasteless.

Poor Quality Food , The Place Stinks of spices and Poor Service , almost like assembly line. For 18 Euros food is made and served poorly and served in steel plates in crammed restaurant. The credit card machine was not working. Use a backup like Square or mobile phone based services rather than causing inconvenience to guests.

We had to wait a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. But that said it was Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. Dont be put off by the alleyway and sauna signs that lead to the restaurant. The food was tasty and affordable, service with a smile and free ice cream because of the slightly long... More

We met our friends who came from France to join us for a couple of days exploring Amsterdam. Meeting at 6pm at the Amsterdam Central station, the question was where to eat that had a good vegetarian selection for our friends? Wandering up Damrak we spotted a small sign "Ghandi" at Damrak 54 and were hesitating at the sidewalk outside... More

I went to this place a couple of days ago with some friends as I had a massive craving for Indian food. We ended up ordering samosas, onion bhajis, chicken and some lamb for starters. The starters were great. Then we ordered chicken biryani, lamb jalfrezi, dal tadka, butter chicken and another vegetarian dish along with rotis. We also ordered... More

While walking across the main street , saw this restaurant. I was not very sure about the food because it's very difficult to get an authentic indian food outside. But turned out to be an excellent one. Must go if you like India cuisine.
