Right in the centre of Dam Square and the Central Station. Was a bit sceptical at first with the entrance to the restaurant through a building, but once inside the place was crowded. The food a pretty good and affordable and found it to serve closest tasting food comparable to places in India. Since then, have visited 7-10 times and... More

Frankly speaking, our hotel was next door and as soon as we reached Amsterdam, after 5 of madness from Tomorrowland, we were craving for "Indian Food". And when we started eating one dish after other, it just reminded us of Bombay Style Food. Amazing presentation, great quantity at a great price and warm feeling among our indians! Do try out... We wanted to pickup a take away so we entered in hotel at 12. A person there said it will take another 25min to start the hotel. We placed the order and said will come in 35min. When we picked up the parcel; we did not check the items. When we arrived at home we found that rice and one... More

Took my friends here today who were visiting Amsterdam for 2 days to try some good Indian food. We were seated and going through the menu deciding what to eat. After 10 minutes the Indian Tour Group came and we were told "Sorry you guys have to leave as the place is booked for the tour group. Come back after... More

the naming of the restaurant is amusing but the restaurant is being run for Indians only unless other nationals are interested in the spicy. Food is authentic Indian. The ambiance is not that great. The washroom is lacking the general European standards of hygiene. That and the general atmosphere will make you forget that you are in Europe.

On exploring Amsterdam we found this hidden gym, located near sex museum down a little side alley. We all fancied an Indian so thought lets book this - wow are we glad we did. I would advise reserving as it is a small intimate restaurant and does get busy we booked in the morning and got in at 8pm that... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
