Lunch

Great Quiche with salad, it had a lot of great tastes and was a big portion. Relaxing atmosphere with really nice people working there.

Excellent vegetarian restaurant in Jordaan, inside tiny and colorful, nice staff. Most important: the quality of food. One of our favorite small restaurants in Amsterdam

"Vegan meal of the day"! Yummy every time. And different every time. 7 different tastes around the day's theme- sort of. We go there 2-3 times a month(starving vegetarian/vegan artists). The staff are low-key and friendly. Art on the walls. Ride your bike there cuz we all know the parking sucks or you may have good parking karma. And there's... More

Because we are vegan this cafe was recommended to us. The food is really average and expensive for what you get. It seems stuck in time. Definitely a plate of 1970's Hippie Food. The workers are friendly, but not that attentive. I would suggest skipping this place.

We always like the food here. Unpretentious but tasteful and organic. The restaurant is a bit shabby though. Windows haven't been cleaned for ages and the ivy from outside has found its way inside. Service is not very attentive.

This place is about 5 minutes walk from the Anne Frank museum. There isn't loads of room inside, so booking ahead is probably sensible, especially if you're in a group. The decor and arrangement are certainly more cozy than cramped, though. The food itself was good - you won't be paralysed by the number of choices, but there was a... More

The food was great (even if they did get my order wrong, the thing they brought was perfectly tasty anyway) and for those wanting a nice veggie experience, there are few better places in Amsterdam. Also, if you have a spare chair at your table, chances are the cafe's cat will come and sleep on it, which is pretty damned... More

All three of us had different dishes and all three of us loved it. Seemed to be all female run and happy in their work. No issues with service and it was reasonably priced.

A truly refreshing, fantastic dining experience. Delicious healthy, tasty food with a 'home-made' element to it. Warm friendly service. Definitely recommend to all and would be back! Thank you!

Place is OK. Nothing special about the food or service. Somewhat boring. Also, they do not accept credit cards.

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
