Most Dutch restaurants do not know the word service. In this restaurant it is the opposite. Very friendly and experienced staff. In combination with good food (small menu but very tasty) does this make it our most favorite restaurant in Amsterdam

We visited with two Dutch friends. We waited nearly 2 hours for our meal which when it arrived was 2 croquettes and a piece of meat which didn't even taste nice. Definitely felt as though we'd been ripped off. Limited choices and very over priced. All in all a hugely expensive mistake.

The owner has a special way to give the right kind of attention and make you feel at home. The restaurant is set in an old building with wonderful authentic yet stylish and modest decoration. We had an amazing supper here on 29th March. We loved the eccentricity of the decor, perhaps we're not as smart as the other reviewers!! The food was superb and the wine list excellent.
