Very nice little Italian restaurant

Most of the places situated on this street seem to be a bit of a tourist trap, high prices and low quality, this definitely isn't one of them. Nice cosy environment and the food was very pleasant. Food took a little longer to arrive than expected but that allowed more time for beers... read more

Not wood fired pizza but great crust nonetheless. The penne and peppers was perfectly done. Lovely, small restaurant in the midst of lots of larger, more cramped places. Appreciated the intimate dining experience. Very nice staff/owners as well.

A small restaurant with good food! A good Italian atmosphere and a nice place for a couple, probably too small for a larger group. Short walking distance from the Rijkmuseum and perfect for dinner after a lob day enjoining art!

We first visited Casa di Leo for lunch after visiting the Rijksmuseum. We had a variety of dishes for our lunches. One of us had the house pasta which was a vegetable pasta, which was good and probably provided more vegetables than the rest of us had throughout our stay. One of us had the soup of the day which... I was walking around the Leidseplein/art district and found this cozy, beautifully located Italian gem restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly, classy and great for couples, friends and dinner/museum/theatre outings. I had the Lasagna, which is easily the best I've ever had in Amsterdam and I've been to many Italian restaurants there. The sauce was tangy and delicious and the portion... More

We had just spent 3-4 hours wandering around the Rijksmuseum and after a small breakfast were hankering after a splendid pizza and glass of wine for lunch so wandered rather aimlessly for 5 minutes until we came across Casa Di Leo in a quiet little area nearby. All we wanted was pizza so chose quickly and when it arrived it... More

Soup and a tuna salad to be exact. Fresh and tasty. Bread is extra. Good food, reasonable prices and a little off the beaten track so not too noisy.

This restaurant is small but perfectly formed. If you fancy good Italian at a reasonable price for the area, then loo no further but dine early. The combination of good quality food and the area makes the value proposition compelling. Great gin and tonic but insist on ice. Wine of the house lovely. Lasagne and scalloping parmagnigna both excellent.

The owner is a very warm guy. The setting is down the street from the Rijks Museum and is surrounded by many restaurants. Only has one table to sit outside (we sat indoors). Had a lunch there of pesto ravioli (really good and tasty, meat ravioli) and a pizza. The crust is thin but was kind of bland in taste.... More
